I ordered a pair of sungalsses from Global Eyeglasses. A day or so later, I noticed a sale, so I emailed and asked them if they could apply the sale price to my order. In the meantime I tried to check the tracking option they provided to see how far away my glasses were...it didnt work, so I sent them an email to find out why... and recieved no response. I sent another email to find whats going on, and where is my order? ...once again no response. Finally after posting a comment saying i would not recomend them...17 days later I get this email asking my opinion?!! Then a day or so later a response to my original one about the sale price. they said they would NOT apply the sale price...and still no response about where my glasses are!?? I still dont have them nor have I recieved any confirmation as to where they are or even if they were sent out at all !!?? I will never use this site again!! July 16 - Update, received glasses which were not the ones I ordered. They also had lots of very noticeable flaws in the lenses, I contacted Global today...Lets see how long for a reply...

called two weeks ago they said they would be shipped that weds this was on a monday got a email saying they where shipped on that friday but wasnt my order # tryed to track the usps nothing would every come up oon there site, again i emaile a the live chat person (danielle) she said that order had been shipped that i had the confirmation on and was delivered in some othe town and state , i then sent her my order #on my dashboard and she said they were waiting on usps to pick them up and didnt know when that would happen now i wandering if i had made the right coice shopping here i have ordered fron zenni and never had this promblem had glass in less than two weeks im thinking my prescription may change before i receive them or get them at all as of this date 7/10/12 still know anymore than when i ordered them

I purchased 2 pair of prescription sunglasses through Global Eyeglasses. I generally use another online company that is much less expensive for my eyeglass needs; however, Global Eyeglasses was one of the few that sold my strength of prescription in sunglasses, most do not go as high as my strength. I did shop around with a few other companies that did offer them in my strength, and I found that Global Eyeglasses had the best pricing and selection for what I wanted. I placed my order on 6/12/12. I received email verification that my order was received. On 6/18/12 I received a notice that my glasses had been shipped via USPS and could be expected within 7-10 business days. I was provided a tracking number for my order. I checked on the USPS site several times over the next two weeks and they never had tracking information, just a notice that they had been told that my package was ready for delivery. On the 10th business day I emailed the sales email (July 2nd before the holiday). I received an email of a credit memo on July 4th noting that my original sale of $60.35 had been credited and was now reduced by $15.08. There was no explanation as to why I received this credit. I assumed that perhaps that one of the glasses may have been unavailable, and when I received no further communication I emailed again on 7/5/12 to the "CEO" email that had been provided as part of the customer service survey. On 7/6/12 I received an email response to my 7/2/12 email. It provided no explanation as to why my order was late, or what the credit memo was about, but stated that my order had just been shipped and I could now track my package. I received both sunglasses on 7/9/12. They came with hard cases that are small enough to put in the small sunglass compartment of my car, as well as a second set of nose guards. One of the pairs is very well done and looks good, the second has a bubble or crack or something on the lense itself and a wierd white powder on the edge of the other lense. At this point with the lack of communication I’m not sure if it’s worth it to try and return it but I’ll see how it goes. On 7/10/12 I attempted to use teh website to return the product with no luck. It gave me several error messages when I tried to go through the process so I called in. They did answer promptly and I spoke to Jessica. Jessica asked the reason for my return. I explained that the glasses were defective and she stated that she would process the request and I would be emailed my RMA. On 7/11/12 despite their "100% satisfaction guarantee" they asked me for pictures of the damage to the glasses. So now I have to prove my dissatisfaction in order to get a return? I'm surprised they are rated #1 in anything as their website alludes, with the poor customer service and product. I'm still waiting to get my RMA.

took 3 weeks to get my glasses when they said only 7 days .. i called them twice and noone would give me any info very displeased

TOOK TWICE AS LONG AS ANY OTHER GLASSES I HAVE ORDERD. PRESCRIPTION WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE. FRAME WAS NOT LEVEL . DID NOT HAVE THE THIN LENS THAT I PAYED EXTRA FOR. SO FAR THE COMPANY HAS NOT GIVEN ME A REFUND AFTER I RETURNED THEM THE NEXT DAY WITH PROPER RMA. 7/13 UPDATE AFTER THREE WEEKS I GOT A REFUND ONLY AFTER I OPENED A DISPUTE WHITH MY CREDIT CARD!!!

I ordered glasses, GREAT PRICE! Only thing is, THEY NEVER GOT DELIVERED!! I received a couple emails of how they have been shipped out. Then received 2 emails from Global Eyeglasses stating "The package (not delivered) is not showing tracking in United States Postal Service". At this point, no refund, no glasses. My account on their website states "order complete". I don't THINK SO! BUYER BEWARE !!!!

Zenni optical blows you away because of their shipping times as well as their prices

For a company that sales online they don't have any online support at all. They prices are cheap but is not worth the trouble. I order a pair of Sunglasses and the mess up my prescription. I email the support (only email). Got a automated response saying they got my email. All week I tried a few times again until I called that Friday. I got a lady on the phone just saying to scan my prescription and email it to a new email. Even know I said in the subject line "Let me know you got it" and copy the support email. Nothing.
