Low-priced glasses that are decent to use. Took a little bit longer to arrive than I thought they would (over a week) but other than that, no complaints. I'd probably use them again.

The lens are excellent, but I will have to wait to rate the frames. They are very light and comfortable They had to make the lens twice for some reason and it took about seven weeks. Communication was good. If you aren't in too much of a hurry this is a good way to save a lot of money and get a very good product.

I was eager to try buying glasses online since I had heard that they are a lot cheaper that way. I shopped the website of several online prescription eyeglass dispensers, and found some had high prices, or poor selection. One site couldn't even come up with any lens/frame combinations that worked for my high prescription! (I am -9 in nearsightedness and over 50 so I need reading glasses- so I like the transition lenses.) Global was the first one that I got all through the order process with a pair of glasses I was looking forward to and at a good price. The day after my order I received an e-mail that said the silver package lenses I had picked wouldn't work for my high prescription and I would have to upgrade to the gold package (higher index plastic) or the lab couldn't make them. For another $30. Grrrrr! So I expressed my dismay and consented to that and hopefully they're really working on upgrading the website so it matches your lens material to your prescription and frames better and weren't just up-selling me. Once the order was then finalized you can check its status. The lenses were being made for about a week which seemed a little slow, and the shipping took another nine days from North Carolina to California, which also seemed a little slow. But they finally got here and seem well made. They were securely packed, the glasses in a soft cleaning cloth in an eyeglass case, in bubble wrap, in a box. My only other minor complaint is that the case included was such a cheap one, it doesn't even click shut securely like it's supposed to. I would be embarrassed to print my company name on it. You would have to keep a rubber band around it it you ever needed to use it again. Bottom line: My new glasses seem good, the price was right ($130 versus probably $150 to $175 for something comparable from Costco), I will continue to shop around for eyeglass companies, but would order from Global again

I got an email with the tracking information on a Sunday, so I figured it would be a day before it updated. Unfortunately, I didn't get any updates until that Friday, and the first update was still in the state of origin. My glasses arrived Monday, so technically it was fast. My thing is, GlobalEyeglasses, don't send a tracking number/shipping notice unless you actually have shipped the product. I was thinking that my glasses got lost in transit... not sitting in the warehouse somewhere. The glasses themselves are fine. They fit, are clear and I'm happy with them. Even though I had my old measurements, these are somehow smaller than my old pair. I don't know how that is seeing that the measurements on these glasses clearly state they should be bigger... Anyway, I've bought from GE before and I'll continue to do so in the future. Maybe next time I'll be more careful.

The glasses finally arrived and I'm so pleased. Not so pleased that they arrived wrapped in newspaper with no receipt or packing slip and took more than two weeks to get here. Will order again however.

Ordering prescription glasses from Global Eyeglasses is a breeze ,especially with the virtual try-on feature. Simply upload a photo of yourself and you can "try on" the frames which appeal to you. I had a bit of problem choosing since there are many great looking styles and I needed a style with small (15mm) bridge measurement. This is why I gave them 4 instead of 5; they should carry more styles in the 15mm range with spring hinges. Nonetheless I found several styles that suited me. The site was easy to navigate and fill in my prescription. There were several price categories and I chose one in my price range with the features I wanted ( such as anti-reflective coating) My glasses were delivered faster than expected. They came in a nice case with a microfiber cleaning cloth. And they are prettier than they appear on the site. Very Pretty. And I've gotten lots of compliments. I am very happy with my new glasses! I have ordered a number of pairs of glasses from them and have always been happy with the service and the quality. And the price can't be beat!
