Global Cycling GearReviews of globalcyclinggear.com

Delivery really takes 4-6 weeks. So buying takes a bit of planning in advance. They even replaced my 1st order for free because the colours didn't match the online description. The customer service is great, friendly and answers within 1 or 2 days. The quality of the shirt is also great. I hand washed mine and it dried quickly.

usna biking jersey fits great - size suggestions really helped. Love the shirt, the material, the fit and the good colors. Deliver went as scheduled - thx for updating delivery.

Global Cycling is the WORST!

Three weeks into our order and still no shipping details other than label created. Was advertised to be delivered within a week. GCG support says the kits shipped but tracking says other. If it's a USPS issue maybe GCG should look into other options.

Good material. I’ll come back and get more gear later for sure

First the good things: 1) The various designs for the various schools look really good. I was very pleased with the flattering design I got. 2) Responses for purchase, changes and shipping are very fast. 3) Shipping was pretty quick considering it was coming from across the world. 4) The tracking number helped in knowing where your product was after shipping. 3) Very good customer service via email. 4) The bib has very good cushioning. Now, the not so good things: I ordered a University of Cincinnati, Bearcats kit - jersey and a bib. Since I knew that dimension-wise I was just over the XL size, as directed, I ordered a size up and got a XXL jersey and bib. When I put it on however, I was swimming in them. The jersey was very loose in the chest, waist and arms. The bottom of the bib's legs were hanging around my thighs like shorts instead of being tight. I contacted GCG and got a very quick response that I had two options. 1) To return the kit at my own expense and wait for the replacement that would be mailed after they received the original back in Vietnam. Or 2) Pay shipping and handling for the replacement (~$39) and keep the original without sending it back. Since I was running short on time, I just paid for the replacement XL size. When I received the XL, it seemed more like an M or M-L to me. Both the jersey and the bib are way too tight for me. The difference in sizes in the waist was almost 6" between the XXL and the XL. My experience in my first 2 rides with this kit - the first time for a 20 mile bike ride on a cloudy evening and the second time for a 35 mile bike ride in the sun. The jersey material is very thin - during the 5 PM evening ride, I felt the wind go right through the material and give me chills. During the afternoon ride, the sun went right through the jersey and in two hours I had the imprint of my bib straps on my back as a tan line. I'm glad that it wasn't hotter because I would have definitely gotten sunburnt. Verdict: You can only wear the jersey in very fair weather. You definitely need another inner layer and/or sunscreen all over your back when you are wearing this in the sun. With every other jersey that I own, you only have to worry about the exposed skin for sunscreen. Not so in this case. The jersey and bib both look very good. Too bad their sizes are so different that my standard size is way too tight and the next size is way too loose. I probably will not be buying anything else from here.

Jersey is well constructed and looks great.
