We were so happy to find Get a pet adoption site after the loss of our 16 year old yorkie we found another yorkie who help us bring back the joy in our home. I highly recommend the site and would not hesitate to use them again

The idea about finding home for a pet ppl can’t keep is great. I was looking for a small dog as a company for my shih tzu, but I was getting from “get your pet” emails with offers of big dogs or even pit bulls.

When trying to adopt a dog, I would respond same day to the dog appearing, and either not receive a response or be told the pet was gone (within hours of appearing as available) When I finally did meet a dog, I told the person that I wanted to bring her to my vet to be sure she was spayed and healthy. They said, "Fine". When I picked her up to take her for her appointment, they submitted a claim that I adopted her and deactivated their account. I kept her, but she's been a challenge.
