I booked and cleaning Spruce lady came. This was the 2nd time. She did a very poor job job, was very rushed and my apartment floors all throughout was filthy. I gave her space, left the apartment but when I returned to my dismayed, she not only cleaned poorly, she took my bathroom face towel, maybe to aggravate me or what! Was terrible experience. I sent many emails complaining about it, photos, video she missed cleaning and every time I asked to dust off some stuff like ceiling fan, balcony chairs, they are extra, so insane! Then they try to sell you their premium cleaning when with other companies what they overpriced are all included. I truly regret using them. I should have checked their reviews first. Please beware! I’m demanding for a refund and I have filed a complaint too with BBB to expedite my complaint. Hope they resolve fast. But please to consumers, do not use Spruce. There many wonderful cleaning companies out there. This was my worst biggest mistake ever.

I ordered a Premium Cleaning service and 2 housekeepers came for 2 hours and did absolutely nothing! I left to run errands while they cleaned and when I came back I was so confused on what they actually did. My shower and bathroom were still VISIBLY dirty, my floors looked like we’re never swept, let alone mopped, and my window sills still had dust and debris on them. When I emailed the company for a refund, they only offered me $40 off my next service. Absolutely ridiculous!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IT IS A SCAM.

I paid for premium clean, interior widows clean, oven clean, and declutter. She did not do my window panels my baseboard, declutter half cleaned I can go on and on. I contacted the company with pictures. The only thing that they did was give me back $25 and that was it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Respond back: I HAVE EMAILED SEVERAL TIMES WITH PICTURES. THE ONLY THING THEY REIMBURSE ME WAS $25 AND THAT WAS IT.

I hired them because the price was affordable, but unfortunately, the service was not worth it. I booked a move-out cleaning, and the cleaner did not even spend an hour in my apartment. It felt like the job was rushed, perhaps because they assumed I wouldn’t come back to check the work. They provided a checklist indicating that all the cleaning had been completed and that all the lights had been turned off, but that was not the case. The top of the refrigerator was still dirty, the counters were not properly cleaned, there was dust on the fixtures, and three lights were left on. The cleaner also marked the oven as cleaned, but that was not true. The oven had never been used, and I had already cleaned it myself, so there was no reason for it to be marked as a completed cleaning task. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service. I understand that the price was affordable, but I expected the cleaning to at least be completed properly according to the company’s own checklist. I would not recommend this service for a move-out cleaning.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I've used them several times and they've missed areas. One time, even leaving it dirtier than it was. I previously used them on Tuesday and came home to find the downstairs toilet not cleaned. You can easily see the hard water stains on it from 4 ft away. Several things were not dusted. I paid for the premium service and had booked the day before, so I had to pay the additional $20 late booking fee. The total came out to $356. That also included the carpet deodorizer and refrigerator cleaning. Sadly, After looking over the entire house, I came back to the kitchen and found that my medications that were in a hot pink bag were left on the island. When I had shared several emails with videos pictures with the customer support staff at Spruce they asked for clarification of all the missed cleaning including the attached difference between premium and signature. They recommended having a cleaner come back within 48 hours for a cleaning. This is not the first time I've had a similar situation. I'm not comfortable the first time I had them come back. They sent the same cleaner and I happened to be home and she was asking a bunch of questions about the previous cleaning she had done, and it just made me feel really uncomfortable. They said it would be a different cleaner, but I do not trust they sent someone different. They had followed up about the medications, requesting an invoice to which I said that's kind of private and personal. But I provided one from my doctor on their own letter head for the $350 worth of medications that were damaged that I'm no longer able to use. They said they spoke with the team and said that the medications were sitting out on the counter when they got there which is impossible since I never take them out of the fridge. I only ever pulled a syringe out, or the one that's a bottle, I leave the fridge door open, fill it and put it immediately back so that I don't do the same mistake. They're only offering a $60 refund. I wasn't expecting full coverage of the medications, but it's just wild to me that this is how they're going to handle things. Just be careful. I'm in the San Antonio Texas area.

Twice I ordered their service and they gave me a 4 hour window but they didn't show. They wasted my time

I’ve never been more disappointed with a company’s handling of a customer concern. After my apartment was cleaned by Spruce, two credit cards that were inside my home were fraudulently used, and two necklaces went missing. I immediately reported the incident to Spruce and cooperated fully throughout their investigation. After days of waiting, their conclusion was simply that their cleaner "couldn't have done it" because they were scheduled to be cleaning other units that day. That explanation did not address my concerns, nor did it explain how my belongings disappeared immediately after the service. I found the investigation to be one-sided and lacking accountability. A police report has been filed, and I have requested the identity of the cleaner assigned to my apartment as well as a refund for the service. At the time of writing this review, neither has been provided. I understand that companies cannot admit fault without evidence. However, I expected a more thorough investigation, better communication, and a genuine effort to resolve a situation involving missing property and fraudulent credit card use. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Spruce and would encourage others to carefully consider whether they are comfortable allowing this company into their home.

The woman sent from Spruce did not speak any English, at all. We tried using a translator on her phone but that didn't work. She pointed to her phone text for me to type my words. Communication was impossible. Absolutely unacceptable. THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED MY PRE-PAYMENT.
