Too bad there is not such an option of no star! I booked and paid $310 for a move-out cleaning service, and the cleaner didn't do anything at all. Property manager did an inspection of my apartment before and after the cleaning and she couldn't see any differences. Spruce refunded me $250 for the cleaning fee apartment charged me and kept the $60. What a business model, like I ordered an I-phone but received a knockoff, received the refund for price difference between an I-phone and a knockoff, but was forced to pay for the knockoff.

I ordered a move out cleaning as I was busy with work and the move. 300$ and the person, Ana, did absolutely no cleaning. When I say no cleaning, I mean not even a vacuum was done. This company is a complete scam. When I confronted them about this, they said they could give me a 50% refund and it would void their "move out guarantee". I gave this company $150 to do nothing. Reporting to BBB and ensuring the apartment complexes understand what goes on with this company.

No one shows. You prepay at an expensive rate for one cleaner at the same price as other expensive services charge for a two person team. No customer service to speak of. Avoid using them.

Terrible experience. Terrible quality, customer service does a terrible job responding when you have concerns. Cleaners are just trying to get done as fast as possible and basically everything will be half done. Very expensive for the terrible quality services they provide. Would never recommend, spend your money elsewhere.

This company steals. They do not process the full refund. They didn't complete tasks listed on their services. This happened multiple times. They asked if I'd like a refund of $30 to my card or credit my acct. They put it on my acct for me to use again. I booked again their service and they didn't complete anything. Even with paying the extra time of 45min declutter. The housekeepers still expected tasks not to exceed the normal 1hr cleaning. I woke up early to give them time for this service. I work evenings and decided to book my dog's doctor appt for her updated shot records since they expect dogs to be put away. They don't give a smaller time window at time of booking. Only say 9-5. This is frustrating especially because i sleep during the day. But on top of that, they say they'll let you know 20-40mins before arriving. This is false. My recent book (yesterday) They litterally text me they were on the way and knocked on my door in less than 5mins. This is unprofessional to say the least. They do not do all the chores listed from what it says they'll complete. I have photos I took showing these tasks not completed. I had to rebook numerous times , affecting my full day and rest to have them redo. I book these services to help make life easier. This only made me have less sleep and more stress. When the most recent booking didn't take place, I asked for a refund because I was frustrated from not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 bookings. I felt I gave them multiple chances to do this correctly and I really wanted to like the service, but unfortunately this wasn't the case. Upon receiving my refund they shorted me $30. They said this was a credit and not a payment. False. This was a previous payment from Sept 10 that they chose not to refund me even when I was given the refund option. The representative I spoke to on the phone yesterday about my services that didnt happen, was rude and sassy. She mocked me. I work hard for my money and I just want to receive all services I pay for. I also change my schedule to accommodate them and had no sleep yesterday due to their broad range of time and lack of communication. Beware of this company. They won't do their full work and will steal from you. I wish I would have Google and researched this company better. I trusted my apt complex with this. I do hope my apartment complex decides to find a different service for their residents.

My first Spruce experience was below average as we can tell there were corners and areas of the apartment that was not swept/mopped/vacuumed. After giving Spruce a second try recently with one of their best packages again, the quality & result was again below average; even before our meeting, I gave out special instructions to refer to previous comments from our first encounter and please strive to be at the apartment for 12 PM - That didn’t happen. As a customer paying for one of top two expensive packages, I expect the same quality for the price I am paying. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Spruce to others & I’ve seen better performance from other cleaning companies in The Woodlands for a stronger price point. Hope to see improvements for the company and other customers who order Spruce.

Horrible service and expensive! Barely moved things to barely clean and I paid for the deep clean and extra for windows. Left my TV on, didn’t throw trash, didn’t sweep all floors, paid extra to them to clean windows and they only cleaned 1……so many things they did BAD to list. Do NOT use this service.
