For the second time in a row, my place was left unlocked. There was a key left with the cleaner. This time, I was out of town and my door was left unlocked for 6 days. The last time, it was unlocked, I came home shortly after the cleaning person left. Also, there are grease marks on my carpet, perhaps from dirty shoes or from a cleaning tool. 5 black grease marks on the carpet

Just got home and our door was unlocked.

I am always disappointed and at this point don’t know why I keep coming back. Multiple rooms were not vacuumed, or not vacuumed thoroughly. In my office I saw only the side of the room in front of the rug was vacuumed, and no attempt was made to vacuum the rug itself or the back half of the room. Visible lint, small items still visible in most rooms of the house. Mirrors not cleaned. Bottom of tub cleaned but walls not cleaned. Still a ring of calcium buildup on the waterline of the toilets. Items dusted around and not moved to do dusting (coffee table books unmoved and dust all around them, pictured on shelves not moved, shelves of entertainment center missed entirely) It’s honestly infuriating and I’m so sick of it happening every single time I book with Spruce. They spray some lemon scented bullshit to make it seem like they’ve cleaned but really just done the bare minimum and spent less than an hour in a 3 bedroom house. Come on. Edited to add: dropping the review from 2 stars to 1 star because of the customer service. If I leave a review and you want to do something about it, reach out to me. Don’t make me email you. You already have my contact information. I’ve already given you the details in my review about why I’m upset. If you truly wanted to fix it you’d proactively reach out to me rather than just some fake reply to my review that you’re sorry and you want to make it up to me. That’s not good customer service at all.

I sent feedback and pictures. Didn't clean the second bedroom. Crumbs and cob webs in the kitchen. Not a good experience especially since the price went up

Absolutely HORRIBLE!! Would never ever use them again!! Always canceling on us last minute and then refusing to provide a FULL refund when THEY Cancelled!!!!

The bathroom dustbin cover hasn’t been put back on, the dinner table hasn’t been cleaned, and the toilet hasn’t been cleaned properly. The bedding hasn’t been done, and the bedsheets haven’t been removed and put back in a proper way.

I jut got the service today. Many areas were not cleaned properly. For example, the light fixtures above the kitchen island were still dusty. The top parts of the glass of the balcony were not cleaned either, even though there was a ladder available in the apartment to reach them and I paid extra for that service. There was also a significant amount of dust under the bed that hadn’t been cleaned at all. I’m sharing photos, and I ended up cleaning under the bed myself. The bathroom sink was not properly cleaned either. Looking at the overall condition, it really feels like the job was rushed, as if the only goal was to finish within two hours and leave quickly. Unfortunately, that’s exactly how it came across. I’ve never experienced a cleaning service like this before, and I’m extremely disappointed. I would not recommend Spruce to anyone based on this experience.
