I really appreciate that they do onboarding calls with all their users. It adds a personal touch and helps users like me understand how to maximize using Poppy. All this time, I thought I could only use it for ideation (like ChatGPT or Claude), but Killian showed me so much more of what Poppy can offer that applies specifically to my business needs. I spent weeks testing Poppy AI for an honest review on my YouTube channel. The product itself is solid. The drag-and-drop interface is one of the best I've used in an AI tool, and being able to pick between Claude, OpenAI, and Gemini models inside the same chat is a solid feature. Transcription from YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram works well. The marketing is where it loses me. Annual lock-in with no month-to-month option, no free trial, gimmicky countdown timers at checkout, and zero transparency on credit usage per tier. The clickbait ads promising "$100K profit with Poppy AI" set unrealistic expectations for average users. Not to mention they've convinced every other YouTuber to create fabricated reviews for affiliate commissions. Good tool. Deceptive marketing holds it back.
