Please buy via a 3rd party site and be sure to use a credit card, not a debit card
• The concept is fab, cannot argue that: It is contract-less (the tracker I had bought, that is), and appears to have really good features- potentially everything I could have wished for. • The execution is OK, not great: Basically the tracker fails on several fronts- the mounting is poorly designed and breaks/is lost, the pet module is prone to button failure (and mine wasn't even used more than a handful of times so it was never abused), and the firmware needs constant updating without adequate alerts to advise of this (and this latter point is allegedly is why the tracker doesn't work at all). There is much room for improvement and, if carried through with, could result in a really good product. • The customer "support", however, is an unmitigated disaster: The company takes no responsibility for their product's failures, preferring to blame the customer's expectations/lack of knowledge, whether this is true or not. But much, much worse is realising that the company have a lot of your personal and confidential information (this is common across the internet these days) which they WILL use to their end repeatedly (this is not common, and exceptionally disturbing), despite their own privacy policy promise. I thought that I had just gotten really unlucky to have ended up with an unusable device which cost £140 and was rapidly going out of warranty, to receive an unsolicited offer of a refund which then was made conditional on me first removing my review, only to have this unsolicited offer rescinded when they realised that they could not coerce me into removing the review after reading of other customers's stories of broken promises of refunds. But after reading the other critical reviews across the internet (not just on here, as it happens), I understand that this is a bit of a pattern with the company and not just happening to me. My advice to you is to: • buy through a third party seller with robust and reputable consumer rights policies, • use your credit card (not a debit card), • keep receipts, a record of everything, and- • consider taking consumer advice before you end up in the position other customers unfortunately found themselves in- out of pocket.

Hi Bronwen, This is the fourth time we reply to your review. Here's what we did: 1. We provided you support for fixing the problems you've reported. 2. We've offered you the possibility of getting a replacement. 3. We've offered you the possibility of getting a refund, even though you were out of the return window. You've asked us to delete your account, and that's what we did. Also, we told you multiple times that, if you want to contact us, you must go to getfindster.com/contact. Then, you'll receive an automatic email and you should reply to it, and not to create a new one from scratch. Besides, we've tried to call you many times, but didn't get an answer; we provided you our customer service manager's phone number, but you said you were advised not to call him. Best regards, Jane
