FindsterReviews of getfindster.com

We have been using Findster for over two years for our Beagle Wilbur who loves to run off leash at the Sandy River Delta (over 1000 acres) in Oregon. It reduced our stress level knowing where Wilbur is at all times. Our other Beagle Terrier, Millie did not need Findster until the other day she got lost at the same Sandy River Delta Dog Park. We ordered another module tracker to add to Wilburs so we now know where both are dogs are at all times on walks. Highly recommend Findster to any dog owner that needs to keep track of their dogs while enjoying off leash walking.

I really like the Findster Duo. I'm more confident amd comfortable letting my pup off the leash. We live in a lot of open land intermixed with bits of forrest. The tracker works best with less dense forrest or in winter but I can't imagine walking without it. The customer service has been impressive. They are kind, imformative and helpful. At times I feel they went above and beyond

I have owned a Findster since beta. Stella (dog) and I could not be happier with it. No fees and a multitude of offerings. We love looking at the map when our hikes are done. Keep your battery charged for best results. It really is great knowing where your dog is hiding in the bushes or digging up a squirrel.

Honestly I'm so happy with how this turned out! I feel much better about unleashing my lab and letting him explore the great outdoors! Plus it's fun to play hide and seek. Also Drª Lisa has helped me a lot!

After owning the Findster Duo for several months i found it to be a great comfort in that i always knew where my dog was. On the farm where our pets are able to roam free and in doing so they do their part to keep wildlife away, its important to know when and where they are at times and the Findster made it easy to do with a simple app on my phone. The Findster App was flawless for my use. I did have to return my unit do to a production error that rendered ours not waterproof. Customer service was quick to identify the issue and stayed on top of it till the issue was resolved. They accepted the return at their cost including postage. Customer service has been excellent and has exceeded expectations. I have recommended this product to my family and friends. Thanks Findster!

EDIT 02 09 20. Since leaving my review I have been contacted by Findster who have offered to send a replacement tracker for our cat for FREE. This of course does change the whole feeling with findster. Its great to know the support is there if you need it, and our tracker is due to arrive sometime this week!! Thanks Findster, it really means a lot to us as customers as many other companies would not have done this! So, about 3 month ago we bought 2 trackers for our 2 cats. The reason for this is because one of our cats was shot and nearly killed, so for a bit extra peace of mind we got said trackers. When they arrived the guardian module did not power up at all, and it was a little bit of a task to have to send a video od this over to findster staff as proof product was faulty. They then asked us to ship this guardian all the way to Portugal or somewhere similar. Anyway, we refused to do this due to shipping costs and we received a new guardian in the post a week later anyway, which was OK. Fast forward a 39 days, and one of our cats seemingly lost his collar on a footpath. No problem you might think? Massive problem... every time we went to look for the collar we could not find it. There was a team of 3 of us with long rakes and machetes to try find the collar where it alledgedly was! We even hired a metal detector too to no avail. So 2 things MAY have happend.... someone may have found the collar and stolen it, i think this potentially because the collar was 'turned off and not 'disconnected OR The collar is still out there somewhere but poor gps won't allow us to find it! Today our other cat who had his tracker on had not moved from the middle of a field for 3 hours... very strange right? So I went down to look for it and no sign yet again.(being mindful this is the cat who was shot so panic was setting in!) I spent an hour looking for it, its a flat field with no hiding spots.. nothing Then all of a sudden the app updated and sat he was 384 yards away at the other end of the village?! I ran over there and luckily found the little cat on my way there.... Conclusion... Personally I really don't know if I would reccomend this product to be honest. The cost of the trackers is very high and the accuracy is somewhat questional despite their claims of it being pretty accurate.

My dog likes to roam whenever she gets the chance, but I never knew how far she'd go. I've been using Findster for a year now and, not only can I know how much exercise she's getting but also exactly where she is and where she's been. Works exactly as I hoped it would.

Fantastic device, have to charge it frequently but its accuracy is well worth the trouble, especially after the last update. It's amazing how well it pinpoints my dog's location!
