Had issues with the medication. Headaches and sleeplessness. Emailed doctor about this and he never responded. I quit the medication.

The pill made me so nauseous every single day, I was never able to get used to it. Nauseous to the point that it constantly made me puke daily. I had to stop taking it.

Everyone was great . I just started so not sure how it works.

I lost 30 pounds within 6 months on the first round of Contrave. I did not change my diet nor did I exercise. I did have some discomfort the first month of taking contrave. I had severe stomach cramps and diarrhea but once it subsided, I was okay. Since contrave has to be cycled every nine months, I stopped taking it for 3 months. I started taking it again about a month ago because I still have 30 more pounds to go, but this time around it does not seem to be effective at all. I don't know what to do about the plateau.

Since I have started Contrave I no longer crave sweets in the evening or sugary snacks in the afternoon. It has definitely helped me with extra snacking.
