Doesn't work well. Doesn't stay dry like they claim. Even following their application instructions it gets an unpleasant slimy feel with the slightest bit of perspiration. And they don't honour their 60 guarantee for a no questions asked refund if not satisfied.

I tried this cream twice a day for 3 weeks for under breast intertrigo. Within 24 hours the rash improved and I was over the moon. However, by day 3 it had returned. Still I persevered, with slight improvements, followed by flare ups. Then, red, sore, itchy and wet! Now, my one star is not wholly based on the actual efficacy of the cream as I realise it works for some people, just not for me. My review is based on the fact that when I contacted the company, perfectly politely, for a no questions asked refund, they tried to get me to continue with the cream. I agreed to give it another week, by which time it would run out and, as I was reluctant to reorder, I would then require a refund. This is where the 'fun' started. I was told that not only should I continue to use it, but I couldn't have a refund anyway as the cream had been opened and used! This is indeed a refund term on their website, but is actually unenforceable as you cannot be expected to buy a cream that you cannot open and use. Moreover, their first term of "your order is backed by our 100 day money-back guarantee. If you aren't satisfied we will refund you, no questions asked" is totally misleading and disingenuous! When I pointed this out to them, they continued to stick to not issuing the refund as I had opened and used the product. Eventually, they offered me 20% refund and I could keep the cream. I refused as they are not fulfilling their promise of a refund and expecting it not to be opened or used is unenforceable as a contract term. They still wouldn't budget on offering anything other than the 20% refund, despite me saying I would report them to Trading Standards. Eventually, I contacted my bank to open a dispute and they gave me a charge back on the payment. To my horror, they also informed me that the company had set up a recurring card payment; this was without my authorisation! The bank have blocked it! If I could give this awful company zero stars, I would! They are preying on desperate people with a distressing skin problem, who are hoping for a solution. If it works for you I am truly happy for you, but beware if it doesn't because their customer service is appalling and their money-back guarantee means nothing! Be prepared to have to contact your bank, and do contact Trading Standards as they deserve to be held to account!

I ordered Clairon hoping that it would help my skin condition. Within a couple of days of placing my order, they emailed me saying there would be a delay in shipment, but I was not to worry because it would be shipped soon. Surprise! It never arrived. When I emailed after waiting a few weeks, all I got back was a curt answer saying their records showed the product had been delivered, and I should check with the carrier to find out what went wrong. I did not know who they used as the carrier, so I was left with less money in the bank and no cream. I have since found another company that supplies a similar product, was cheaper and no problems with delivery - AND - it actually seems to be working, so "stuff" Clairon and their version of customer service.

Disappointed .. been using for 2 weeks now and no change to itching... I will persevere however !

Excellent customer service. They worked very hard to resolve my problem. The Clairon stick is amazing. I’ve been suffering and now I’m not.

Too expensive and not effective. Stings when applied and works very poorly

My order was delayed for some reason, but they actually notified me and told me when to expect it. That is above and beyond in my book. I now have the solution I need to get rid of this plague.

The product smells great, feels great and does what it promises.
