Legitimate business and their products arrived and seemed good quality.
Reason for low rating - their ‘sample’ offer at 80% is scummy. They will charge full price for this sample if you do not convert to a subscription afterwards. While this is listed a long way down in the small print, I guarantee I would not have gotten the sample if I had read this point, and I’m sure a lot of other people wouldn’t either.
Shame, because they seem like a decent business otherwise, but where I’m from this would be considered scummy as hell.

Hey Liam. We're sorry to hear that you had a bad experience, but we think there is some policy confusion that we want to clear up. You're certainly able to cancel your membership free of charge. We simply ask you try out the regimen for 14 days to get a sense of whether the products and membership are right for you. This gives you and our customer service reps time to make adjustments to your products as well. Give us a shout at [email protected] and we'll work with you to make things right.

Decent products, horrible company
Firstly the products (as in the creams) are really good, I really noticed a difference using them (even over other premium brands).
Unfortunately everything else about this company sucks. They will rope you into a trial then hit you with a $110-160 subscription (they say they're transparent but not many companies threaten to report you to the FBI if you do a charge back). Their packaging is awful - I've had three different bundles from them and every one had at least one bottle split either while being shipped or when in a gym bag/checked baggage. You're then out of whack with the rest of the bundle. Lastly, the price is just absurd. $160 for a set from an online only company? No - that's the sort of pricing you can pull off when you're Tom Ford.
It's disappointing the operate the way they do - if they were honest and focused on getting their product into bigger stores they'd have taken off by now

Good product overcharged and bad shipping tim
Products are not bad but. I got a subscription with them but they decided to charge me 6,000$ dollars for a oder I never made. I did get my money back in time so thank you for that .Also there shipping time was horrendous. So dont know wat there doing over there I see a lot of people complaining abaute same thing overcharge and shipping time . So they have to get that part right because products are good.

Thanks for your review, Geovanny.
Our team confirmed that you updated your subscription preferences to include 38 anti-aging routines in addition to your main personalized regimen, and we quickly canceled and refunded the order for you after it processed. Neither our team nor our subscription platform made this change for you.
We did experience some significant shipping delays in January that led us to upgrade our services and implement better technologies to keep an eye on customers' orders while in transit. We can confirm that we've since been seeing U.S. orders routinely deliver within 3-4 business days for over 90% of our customers.
Let us know if we can help with anything else!

Really bad shipping, multiple follow-ups to get order *updated*
*** 02-21-2023 see update below ***
I placed an order on Jan 12th 2023 and as of Feb 11th, 1 month later and still nothing.
I have reached out to their customer service via email probably at least 4 times. They eventually respond after a few days and give you a nice story and make you feel like they will resolve the issue, but then it doesn't happen.
Just like everyone else you read about on here, they give you a DHL tracking # and then you watch it over a number of days but it always says they never received the package.
Then customer service tells you they resolved the issue, but nothing changes, still no tracking.
Then after several more emails, they said they apologize and would re-send, but once again nothing. And of course here I am, tracking # STILL doesn't work, never received anything. DHL are bad for sure and they are fools to use them, but I can't imagine they are THAT bad. Maybe slow, but product should eventually be received. I have wondered if they don't just create the label and NEVER send ?!? Maybe they don't have the product ... can't keep up with orders Then they blame it on Christmas shipping after Christmas is over.
Oh, and don't forget in many cases when you order you may be tied to a subscription too. So say you order a trial of their stuff, while you are still waiting for it to come, then they may charge you for and "ship" your next order. You can certainly cancel or modify the ship date if needed ... just be sure you understand this and change it if needed. (In my case I first pushed the date of this then eventually cancelled it)
So word of advice ... just save yourself the headache and don't waste your time.
*** UPDATED 02-21-2023 ***
To be fair I am going to update this review because Andy at Geologie did reach out to me on Feb 20th and despite the fact that I did a chargeback on the order, he did re-send everything and this time it did come pretty quickly via DHL / USPS. So I do have to give them credit for still following-up and eventually making it right (it was 41 days from the date I ordered to receipt of the product). I am adding an additional star for this. I am told the issues were due to their shipper moving to a new larger warehouse. So despite the fact this was. a very bad experience overall, thanks to Geologie for making this right. Hopefully they have resolved their shipping issues. Now I can at least try the product. Just wanted to give you all the relevant info to make an informed decision for yourself.

Hey Troy. Appreciate you sharing your experience, and apologies for the delay in receiving your order. It sounds like our success lead recently followed back up with you to make sure your issue was resolved, as our team does routinely view and respond to reviews here on Trustpilot to ensure that our customers are taken care of.
We did encounter some significant shipping delays around the holidays and immediately after that we've since addressed and solved for. We're now providing customers with upgraded shipping services at no additional cost and are seeing those orders deliver quite fast, in about 3-5 business days for 90% of the U.S. We've also implemented new technologies that allow us to better monitor shipping trends while packages are in transit in case there's a widespread delay we can investigate and quickly resolve.
To your last point of feedback, we do not lock customers into a subscription -- ever. Recurring orders are not generated for a customer unless they give explicit consent to receive them, and membership preferences can be updated at any time in between orders if a change is needed to be made to the products you're receiving, your next order date or if you'd like to cancel outright. Glad to hear that you were able to take advantage of these flexible account controls.
Thanks again for sharing this, and we hope you enjoy your order, on us.

I placed my order January 10th
I placed my order January 10th. There has been no update from tracking. Stefan at Geologie said he reached out and assured me the package has shipped and is on the way. He provided a link which said “no results found”. This was a week ago and have received no response. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had ordering a product online. I want my money back to be completely honest.

Hey Christian! Thanks for your review, and sorry to hear about your shipping issue. It sounds like our team has been in close contact with you and ensured you were taken care of with a replacement order.
We ran into some widespread shipping issues in January that impacted about 10% of our customers, and have since upgraded shipping services that are already showing noticeable improvements to turnaround times.
Apologies again for your order being impacted and glad that our team was able to get you taken care of. Don't hesitate to reach back out if there's anything else we can help with.

Near a month done and still Nothing
Near the 30 day mark and I still have not received my order. They shipped through DHL which is one of the slowest and cheapest form of shipping there is, and for us consumers it is a no bueno. DHL tracking is terrible and constantly remains on "shipped" leaving you with the ambiouty as to when or if it'll even arrive. At this point I prefer to be refunded than getting anything at all.
Edit: I am giving it one more star because they have kindly replied to me and confirmed that my parcel is on it's way. However the item is still not in my procession and I have yet to see if it arrives on the stated date they have provided me with. I will consider updating this review when I get the items I ordered because I still need to test them out in the first place. I can't give a definitive answer if they are quality or mediocre products not until I have tested them.

Thanks for your feedback, Oscar! It looks like our team confirmed that your order is set to be delivered shortly, so thanks for your patience while we experience longer than usual holiday shipping delays.
Our team has seen delivery times balloon to 2 and sometimes 3 times as long as usual, which has been frustrating for us and for our customers. We’re working around the clock with our staff and our carriers to get to the bottom of every delayed shipment for our customers and have been happy to keep in touch with you on yours.
We're also always looking to improve the customer experience, which includes how our orders are shipped. We routinely conduct tests between carriers to compare turnaround times and find that, outside of peak shipping season, our average turnaround time is quite competitive. We'll be conducting another round of tests early this coming year, though, and if any services prove faster than our current options and would provide our customers a better experience, we'd certainly pursue those.
Thanks again for sharing this feedback and don't hesitate to follow up with our CS team on the ongoing thread we have with you if there's anything else we can help with.

Was the goal for me to feel like Geologie had been gaslighting me?
Preface: I like their product and user interface when you are starting. I wanted a semi-personalized routine because I was having recurring skin issues, and I get overwhelmed when I shop online and I have to choose among so many products. So good routine and saving time and energy.
7/15 - Unfortunately, their customer service essentially gas lit me for two weeks when I noticed an there was a shipping issue. In sum, Geologie’s(G) in house tracker was showing in transit/fulfilled, but DHL tracking never received a box from the sender (I don’t know why, and, frankly, as a paying customer, maybe I shouldn’t have to know why)
No worries though. The notification of of shipping from G said “You can track its journey anytime via the button below. Keep in mind that the tracking information can often take up to 48 hours to update with live data, depending on the carrier.” So I’ll wait.
7/19 - I waited 4 days. The status didn’t change, so I used G’s chat feature. The agent told me the game plan: “Here's what we should do: give it another few days for the tracking here to update. We'll check back in shortly and if the package still hasn't shown any sign of movement, we'll get you taken care of. All of our orders are automatically protected from loss in transit, damage, and theft at checkout, thanks to our partners at Route.”
l’m thinking this sounds like a plan. (Route is a whole other issue on this ordeal but I’m focusing on G) I do initiate a claim with Route. “Because your package is not yet in transit, kindly note that we require a 15 day waiting period before evaluating your claim. As frustrating as it can be, Route allows this grace period as retailers are working hard to get that fulfilled and shipped out to you as soon as possible!”
15 days? That seems excessive for a company that has told me my package shipped! But I’ll be a patient little customer since apparently I’ve exhausted all my options.
7/21 - DHL has not updated anything. I email G customer support.
Geologie’s solution: “Here's what we should do: give it another few days for the tracking here to update. We'll check back in shortly and if the package still hasn't shown any sign of movement, we'll get you taken care of. All of our orders are automatically protected from loss in transit, damage, and theft at checkout, thanks to our partners at Route.”
Where have I seen that before?
7/26 - 11 days. Tracking status has not changed. I chat with a customer service rep on the chat function and she sends me the DHL tracking link and starts going into “Here's what we should do: give it another few days for the tracking here to update…”
I am really starting to feel like no one is actually going to try to help on this. So I ask the rep, “have you actually looked at what DHL says the status of my shipment is in the link you just sent me?” Long pause (so presumable, no?). She then informs me that is strange and she is going to talk to the warehouse team and look into this and get back to me ( how many days later)
Meanwhile, I (not G) call DHL customer service, and they basically said that for whatever reason, they never got it, but it’s not going to be updated at this point and I need to contact the merchant.
Route closed my claim that day as well, saying that because it’s in a “pre-shipment” status it falls outside their protection policy guidelines.
Soon after, I receive an email from G. This was the entirety of it: “We're sorry to see that you are still experiencing delays with your shipment, and we would kindly ask you to just give it a few more days for the trackign to update. We'll check back with you on Sunday, and if it's still not showing any updates, we'll make sure you're taken care of.
Sounds good? Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime, and we'll be happy to help.”
I am very frustrated at this point and reply NO THAT DOES NOT SOUND GOOD. I basically had to threaten to cancel my subscription and walk away before they responded “do you want us to just order you a replacement.”
And it looks like that shipment is on the way. Win? Perhaps, but I feel stressed and angry after all this. I ran out of my trial a week ago, so I had to go buy all new stuff at cvs anyway. I’m breaking out again. Given my goal was to save time and energy and have better skin, it’s basically been a net negative.
I honestly don’t think the reps at G were bad individually. Each was pleasant and polite. But the overall team, across multiple reps, did not provide knowledgeable assistance here. The solutions they offered were clearly generic responses: either wait or file a claim with a third party. Neither requires G to put forward effort to troubleshoot the problem. Resending me the tracking link saying I can track it without actually reviewing the tracking details was a lot though given the nature of my inquiry. .. maybe I can write a good review in 3 months.

Overpriced, average quality products
Overpriced, average quality products. I can get better quality stuff for less money at my Bed Bath and Beyond. I think the main reason they’re getting so many positive reviews is mostly that the majority of the people buying their products have never had a skincare regiment before, and thus have nothing to compare it to.
Response from GeologieJun 13, 2022
Thanks for the feedback, Arlo, though we'd have to disagree with you on nearly all fronts. We have plenty of folks come our way after testing Lumin, Tiege and others, and tell us how much they wish they'd just started with us. More than happy to help dial in the regimen or the price for you behind the scenes via customer support if you want to give us a shout there, however.
