Subscription Cancellation/Refund Problems - Fixed
Ordered a 30-day trial set to try the products, however, there was a huge delay on the delivery of the trial so I only got the products some days before the supposed subscription kicks in, which is not enough time to see if the products are good. I tried to cancel the upcoming subscription order by contacting customer services but was initially unable to cancel as it has been processed. They offered a "30% LIFETIME discount on all future subscription orders" as an apology for being unable to cancel, however. I was contacted further upon posting the original review about the situation and they were able to give me a full refund as there apparently was an error on their end about scheduling the subscription order. It was unfortunate that I was not able to get a straightforward refund initially but they do however treat reviews seriously and did their best to rectify the situation. As for the products themselves, they appear to work as intended and have noticed some slight improvements on my skin. That said, the following still stands: The user experience of their website was not very user friendly/intuitive at the time of my interaction with them. A specific example would be the cancellation process of a subscription. You first need to select cancel in a dropdown menu (that does not look like a dropdown menu and has no indication of it being clickable as the cursor remains being the text cursor) -> press cancel -> shows a loading animation -> press red continue button on the top. At the point where you press cancel and a loading animation happens, some might think they are unsubscribed and leave it at that but the process is not done yet as you need to select a reason for cancellation.

Hey Kim! Thanks for your feedback here. Our CSM followed up a few times after your conversation with one of our reps but unfortunately hasn't gotten a response from you. We're happy to get you taken care of if you want to engage on that email thread. We've been seeing longer than normal transit times this holiday season due to the increase in package volume with our carriers, and share the frustration this brings to our customers and their experience. We hear you and sincerely appreciate your patience through the wait. It looks like you're a U.K. customer, too, and there have unfortunately been longer transit times for our international customers as well. Customers' order dates are typically postponed automatically based on the delivery scan of a package, but it sounds like that data may not have been communicated properly between our systems. Order dates can also be moved around manually from within the account whenever need be, as a failsafe. We never want our customers to get charged for something they're not ready for and are happy to lend a hand here. And yes, we do also offer subscription discounts for customers who are looking to stay consistent with their regimen but could use help fitting it into their budget. Appreciate your feedback on the cancellation process as well. We have shared some of these specifics to our development team to see if we can make improvements to the UX of our account portal. We are also in the process of switching our subscription management to a more flexible solution, as we are unfortunately very limited in the design and UX of our current system. Our CSM will look forward to hearing back from you if you care to keep the conversation going, Kim!
