To help clarify, Gen Mobile is able to offer free monthly service to qualifying customers through the federal Lifeline program. Because these plans are government-subsidized, the monthly data allotments are set by federal regulations rather than by Gen Mobile directly. That is why we are unfortunately unable to increase the data limits on free plans. Please call our Customer Care team by dialing 611 on your Gen Mobile device.
