Ordered a phone which I received it. The phone wasn’t activated like always. So I did what was instructed for me to do to activate the phone. It didn’t work. So I tried to find the phone number looking at the box or where the sims card holder and there was no number to be found. So I had to call GEN to see if I can get resolved.i was asked for a PIN number in which I explained to individual I don’t have a phone number or pin to be activated. So all my information was taken so the individual can check about getting my phone activated. Well after all that going back and fourth I was told that a PIN number will be mail not emailed but mailed to me instead and that I would have to wait 7 to 10 day for the letter. This isn’t really good service I expected.

I opened a GenMobile account through the Lifeline program a month ago, but they still haven't provided me with the service. Genmobile sent me a phone with an active SIM card, but I can't receive calls; I can only make calls. Every week, Genmobile sent me a new SIM card to fix the issue. But the second, third, and fourth SIM cards didn't fix the problem. They opened four escalation tickets, two of which are still open. I've called customer support numerous times, but the only answer I've heard is, "You need to wait 24 hours, and they'll call you back." Technical support never called me back about my issues. At this moment I have not any phone service provided Genmobile. Based on what is happening with the telephone service that this company did not provide me, there is every reason to believe that the company is deceiving people and the state in which it operates. I will be forced to seek help from government agencies in this situation. Ticket# TKT132726
