A scammer is repeatedly posting a stolen sketch on t-shirts and sweatshirts to sell on a public Facebook group (Somes Sound 12 ½ sailboat group) under fake Facebook profiles using the GearLaunch webshop platform. In researching this its clear that GearLaunch is hiding behind their third party agreements claiming they are not responsible, but yet they continue to provide a means for scammers to scam and do nothing to stop it despite the endless complaints. Sending a complaint to their legal dept, as they repeatedly advise, is useless.

Scammers are getting creative! I received a tag from what I thought was my friend on one of her Facebook posts. This person create a Facebook account using her name, profile pic and tagged me and a few of her friends to a link to Gear Launch to purchase merchandise, which she would get a portion of the sales! I only found out after speaking to her today that someone recreated her account and is selling merchandise with her name and photo through this website! I've notified PayPal and reported it to BBB. Please beware!

The t-shirts arrived and not only did it have the wrong mascot (should be a cougar not a lion with a bird head), but the quality is cheap. One washing and it won't fit for sure

Gearlaunch are a fraudulent site selling counterfeit merch with ripped off designs on them. Beware! As you can see Trustpilot have a disclaimer saying “We’ve detected a number of fake reviews for this company” and it’s clear this is the case for their positive reviews as they are a scam and would have 1 star otherwise.

Absolutely disgrace!!! Someone put a website selling t-shirts on my name, it is a big fraud and I am contacting my solicitor to sue this company. How in hell this company allows people to set up a page selling merchandising in artists names? I am launching my single tomorrow and it is a big inconvenience for me to advertise now that I have to alert all my audience on Facebook too because the fake profile is using the link of this company to promote as if was me! I contacted the staff to put the page down and nothing was done. I will contact a cyber crime company now to deal with this!!!!!

This company hosts for a company called Puride.shop which is a scam. The t-shirt I received was of the poorest printing quality with the writing being so blurry in places it was unreadable. I contacted the company thinking it was faulty printing but to no avail and only got customer service when I complained via Gearlaunch. They offered to reprint for me but then informed me it can't be printed any better! They offered a refund but only for the basic price of the t-shirt quoting refund policy. This is clearly a scam because why are they advertising an item that can never be produced with readable quality print otherwise? They just want to keep the money you paid for shipping etc with no intention of ever providing you with a decent quality item. I'm disappointed to be left out of pocket for an item that should never have even been advertised as it can not be produced. Do NOT order from this company. You will be disappointed, left with a poorly printed item and left out of pocket even if you do get a refund.
