Inverter board toast after 2 years. No warranty after 365 days of purchase. It's a known issue GE refuse to acknowledge.

In August of 2023 I paid $1999.99 for a Crosley made by GE. Refrigerator. 2 years and 7 months later it died. Estimates for repair is $1500. GE says 1 year warranty. Luckily I live in Maine so they have to warranty it for 5 years. Communication has been abysmal. I had to email them a copy of the invoice and the estimate for repairs. Days later with no response I called. When I finally heard from a “manager”. The offer was “we’ll repair it or buy it back for $1300.” When I debated the decision I was told “it is what it is”. I’ve decided to let them spend more to repair it. When I asked for an email outlining our conversation and the plan going forward, the “manager” said “I don’t have an email address”. I reminded her that she had just read my email to them. Ridiculous and incompetent. Absolutely the last GE appliance we are purchasing.

Washer: GTW335ASNWW, Ripped up my blankets, pillows and cushions and stretched my clothes. Items I have washed in previous machine with no problems. Does not fill with enough water. Goes off balance often, then stops without rinsing. Contacted GE within days of purchase to return. No help. 3 years later I have to eat the cost and get another brand.

Bought a washer 2024 during the two years it constant not working the warranty expired so they stopped send service and offer a washer at a discount big mistake I accept the offer. The new washer was delivered late March, 2026 since then GE already sent service three times. I would not recommed anyone buying GE appliance.

Horrible Aftersale service, if something goes wrong, have to wait weeks for the part which does not have any tracking or clue on when it will arrive, you then have to wait couple of weeks for the technician. Stay away from GE

Awful! My washer was still under warranty. It takes over a week to get an appointment, then they change it without speaking with you. Never mind you had waited for them for a week when you could have gotten someone else, and never mind you had set time aside to meet with them.

We have a GE dryer less than 6 months old within warranty period. They took almost a month to send a technician who within 5 minutes left saying GE will send the starter kit. After the kit was received, the GE technician called and asked us to install it ourself and cancelled the appointment. This is the worst kind of customer service and would never recommend anyone to buy their products.

Model GFW550SSN5WW, SERIAL NUMBER FV371852N, GE front load washer, 3 years old, drain pump went out. Now waiting for service tech to get part. Clothes ruined. Water clean as drain at bottom of machine, no tube, just dumps on floor, cookie sheet barely fits under.
