I was looking for options on an older microwave for a longer power cord. I was told parts were no longer available for my model...which I knew because I searched parts sites myself. What I hoped was that with more resources at their disposal, they could find a solution, a compatible part. Nope. I just find it hard to believe that power cords are specific to every model GE manufactures. Take the extra step to actually solve problems. Come on GE, you're better than this.

First, I want to acknowledge that I misplaced my receipt due to a move, 8 storage units and 4 houses. But...I did register my new, never before installed dishwasher when it was installed October 2020. After install I ran it empty to test/clean it. IT LEAKED. I called GE to schedule repair. I was told it was manufactured in 2018 (another said 2019) and it was not under warranty. I explained I purchased it only a few months before and installation was delayed due to my contractors. They said I would have to pay for labor but the parts were covered under warranty. I didn't like it but agreed because I couldn't find the receipt (from a big box store). Local repair people came 3 weeks later and fixed the leak. They did not run or check if anything else was wrong with the dishwasher. I began using it and quickly realized that it did not get the dishes clean. It does not heat the water, it does not dry, it can't possibly sanitize with out heat and kitchen installer said it was missing the kick plate. Geez!! And this is just the things I know!! I have called 4 times now to schedule a service repair, each time having to explained the whole thing, sit on hold, ask to speak to a supervisor, be transferred to customer service and 4 times I have been DISCONNECTED!! I bought all GE appliances so they would match but I would give anything if I didn't have to deal with GE again!! Unfortunately, I will have to call again Monday or buy a different brand. Save yourself and buy another brand!!! Wish I could submit a picture

I only gave one star because there is not zero stars!!! One of the worst CS experiences of my life!!! I'm trying to reach Consumer Relations but keep getting transferred to the Service Dept. Upon explaining my situation, the people answering the phone in the Service Dept. are transferring me right back to where I started with me pleading them not to do that. I have no idea if I will ever get through!! At this point, I just want a refund of the GE washer purchased (which came with a bad transmission) and have nothing to do with this company again!! :|

We have a washer dryer combo unit. It is absolutely AWFUL. This unit is about 4-5 months old and we honestly use it as a table because it does not work like it is supposed to.. we hav had GE techs come out thqt haven't been able to fix it.. we were told our dry cycle was 700 MINUTES long. We have tried just putting three towls in the machine to see if they would dry and they come out still soaked!! We had to buy a brand new Samsung washer and dryer because we needed to do laundry and GE was unsuccessful in fixing the machine. the customer service has been hit or miss, some representatives have been great to talk to and seemed understanding of this stressful situation. However one basically called me a liar when I informed her the machine was not working, and that was terrible customer service. I am at the point where my boyfriend and I are considering taking to a lawyer.

Purchased a dryer in November of 2020, not even a month later it quit working. Spent a week dealing with the brick were I had bought it from, then GE itself and the repair technician. Finally Feb 2 of 2021 the technician came. TWO NEW parts have to be ordered on a brand new dryer! Now I have to wait another month for the parts to be put on. Never ever again will I purchase a GE product. Absolute garbage! If I could have given them a zero I would have

Bought a GE wash dryer set model # GTW680DG and within the first 8 months both have broke down. the washing machine need a door sensor replaced and the dryer needs a new main control board replaced. we are still waiting for the dryer to be fixed. Out of the 8 months we have owned a GE washer and dryer we have gone without a working washer and dryer for over a month and counting. Customer service said no refund or exchange and total unapologetic about us not having working washer or dryer for one out of eight months because of their poor quality product. I will never buy GE again.

We bought a GE washing machine. It only worked for 2 months. We tried to claim against the warranty, and could hardly get ahold of an agent. Finally, after six months, we finally got a case filed, and were promised a buyback check of $748.00. Had to follow up with several email messages and phone calls, but to date, no buyback check has been received. It has been 7 months now, and still no reconciliation of the warranty promises. We live in Rural Alaska, so we also lost out in $600 in freight, which we will never get back. During these pandemic times, it only added to stress. I will never buy another GE appliance again, since they have crappy customer service, and do not honor the warranty. Buyer beware!

I have a GE Profile Washer, I have had to have it repaired a few times although I purchased it brand new. Today their repairman came to my home and refused to service it although it is their brand. His reasoning was that he could not read the serial number. I told him that I had the receipt and the serial number and he still refused to service the washer.
