Broke within 4 months and poor customer service My husband and I recently bought a brand new GE washer and dryer from Leon’s. (Separate review for Dryer) Honestly I loved the washer at first, it worked well and had all the settings I wanted. Unfortunately within 4 months of owning it, it was already leaking water and causing water damage in our basement. We tried contacting GE costumer service since we were within the 1 year manufacturer warranty. We heard nothing for a week, upon the second week we started trying to call, got no answers and didn’t have our voicemails returned. It took 3 weeks to finally get a hold of someone and were contacted by a separate company that they outsource to, (Approved Appliance). He was confident he knew our problem without looking at the machine and went ahead and ordered the part that he said would take 2-3 days to come in. We thought this was a good thing. Than he proceeded to not contact us for an entire week. When we called back, he told us “he didn’t have time for small problems” and told us to call back later. We then contacted GE directly and told them we were upset that we were being ignored and dismissed and not given help to fix our washer. We had a lovely lady that was very helpful (the only good part of GE we have experienced) and we told her that considering our horrible experience with the dryer (see other review) and our horrible experience we are currently having with the washer that we want to return the washer and to go with a different company. She was very helpful in issuing us a store credit with Leon’s and we were able to buy a new washing machine with a different company. We were called by the Approved Appliance employee the following day trying to replace the part now (we’re assuming he got in trouble for being an a**hole to us previously) and we told him to F off Even though we appreciate the GE costumer service lady for her help, we have now for separate reasons returned both our washer and dryer and will never be purchasing an GE products ever again.

No call / No show for tech, No notification for rescheduled date and time of visit, No apology / No accountability = Poor Customer Service (They don't care about you, so why should you care to do business with them).

I purchased the GE Washer/Dryer All-in-One unit in December 2024, and just a few months later, the dryer stopped working. It has now been over two months with the issue still unresolved. Despite several calls and emails, GE customer service has been completely unhelpful. They’ve sent a technician three times, and even replaced a part – yet the machine still doesn’t work. Now, they’ve stopped responding to my emails and phone calls altogether. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. Terrible customer service and absolutely no accountability. I expected better from a brand like GE. I will never buy any GE product again, and I strongly advise others to stay away as well.

I also have been waiting 3 months for a warranty repair on a dryer that is less than 6 months old. Completely unacceptable, they do not return your calls or care about their customers once you've made a purchase.

Do not recommend GE. Horrible GE front load washer. Horrible warranty customer service. Been without a reliable washer for over 6 months and purchased machine brand new less than a year ago. We have 2 children under 2 and GE as a company does not care to help us. We gave them thousands of dollars for a “reliable” washer and dryer. They have given us stress and headaches but, the one time issued $75 gift card is supposed to make this all better. The supervisor won’t even speak to us. HORRIBLE.

I have all receipts, records and (25) parts still stored at my house pertaining to GE washing machine that fell apart after (4) months of very little use. Model# GTW325ASW . I followed all steps as requested by customer service & relations, to no avail any reasonable solution was offered, only a team of people offering excuses. My case manager was simply incompetent and promised a replacement machine by email failed to deliver and more excuses again. I’ve never seen supervisors and case manager simply unable to resolve a simple replacement issue. GE team never called me (1) time, I did all communication 1st on my own and can prove it with (8) pages of notes/pictures. Truth is GE service team fails all basic reasonable customer service. I purchased machine at Lowe’s, they are #1 for customer service, simply the Best! GE washing machine I purchased was not a lemon, it was a stinky lemon that bounced hitting the metal (4) walls of machine. Service and customer relations is the Worst.. Now I take my complaint to consumer relations and news media etc. Thanks to myself I keep accurate records.. I won’t post the case#… ? Am I reasonable to ask for reasonable product service? The profile washing machine I have has the worst dispensers I have ever used. Completely worthless. If I could go back and buy a different washing machine I would. I suggest avoiding their products as much as possible. There is no quality there.
