This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I had my oven stop working In October, and after 3 failed appointments and being jerked around by a useless technician, the customer relations department can do nothing to help me except reschedule more appointments. I want a new oven. I will never buy GE again. I am livid.

I wish I could give them a zero
I wish I could give them a zero! This has been the absolutely worst company I have ever dealt with! The technicians haven’t been able to figure out how to repair my refrigerator after 7 weeks!!! I keep having to wait for parts to be delivered, and then wait longer for a technician appointment. Bodewell has no clue how to schedule technician appointments. I have to call several times a week to figure out whether they are coming that week or not. Once I got a text the day AFTER an appointment was supposed to happen, telling me that the appointment was cancelled. Ridiculous. Today their arrival window was between 8 am and 12 pm, and guess what??? After I called to see where the technician was they told me that he actually won’t be there until this afternoon. I have wasted so many days waiting around for Bodewell, and I still don’t have a working refrigerator after 7 weeks. Total incompetence.

GE service arm Bodewell incompetent
Bodewell is terrible. Their service techs don’t know anything. I explained my situation to the tech who never heard of the issue before. I asked him to ask his colleagues. He called the head tech-support person who also said he’s never heard of the issue. And then I found it right on the Internet

When your GE refrigerator's actual and set temperatures are both displaying 33°F and cannot be changed, it is likely due to an activated control lock feature, a faulty temperature sensor (thermistor), or a malfunctioning main control board.
Immediate Troubleshooting Steps
Check for a Control Lock: The most common reason for unresponsive controls is an active "Control Lock" or "Lock" feature.
Look for a button labeled "Lock Controls" or a lock icon on your control panel.
Press and hold this button for 3 to 5 seconds until the lock indicator light turns off or "LOC" disappears from the display.
Once unlocked, you should be able to adjust the temperature using the fridge temperature buttons.
Perform a Hard Reset (Reboot): If the control lock is not the issue or the panel remains unresponsive after unlocking, a power cycle may resolve a temporary electronic glitch.
Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet or turn off the circuit breaker for the refrigerator.
Wait for about 5 minutes to ensure the control board fully resets.
Plug the refrigerator back in or turn the breaker back on.
Attempt to change the temperature settings again.
Potential Underlying Issues (If the problem persists)
If the above steps do not work, a component may be malfunctioning, and professional service may be required.
Faulty Temperature Sensor (Thermistor): The thermistor monitors the internal temperature and sends data to the control board. If it fails, it can send a constant, incorrect signal (like 33°F), preventing temperature adjustments. This part can be tested with a multimeter for proper resistance.
Malfunctioning Main Control Board: The main control board processes all the information and commands. A defective board may fail to respond to button presses or incorrectly interpret sensor data.
Blocked Airflow or Frost Buildup: Ensure that the internal air vents are not blocked by food items, which can disrupt proper air circulation. Excessive frost buildup on the evaporator coils (located behind a panel in the freezer compartment) can also cause temperature regulation issues; a full defrost of the unit might be necessary in this case.
If you are unable to resolve the issue yourself, contact a GE Appliances technician for a professional diagnosis and repair.

Don't buy GE
I currently have a GE refrigerator that I purchased less than a year ago, that already needs new parts. This is unacceptable. Also have window unit purchased a few months ago. It started having thermostat issues and, rather than refund the entirety of what I paid, they sent me a "voucher" for the purchase price only (leaving me out whatever taxes I paid). It's only good for 90 days and, no one has window units for sale this time of year. Will not buy GE products again. Very disappointed.

Terrible Service — Avoid Until They Fix It
Beautiful appliances, yes. They look premium and modern. But the service is absolutely terrible — slow, disorganized, and unreliable. Every time I’ve had a problem with a Monogram appliance, the service has been delayed and frustrating.
This time, my side-by-side refrigerator failed. It took three weeks for a technician to finally show up. I requested the repair directly through GE Monogram, and they handled the entire process — yet it was chaotic: appointments postponed indefinitely without notice, parts shipped twice incorrectly, and no coordination whatsoever.
Monogram clearly does not take customer service seriously. I’m writing this with full responsibility and the firm intention of warning others: do not buy Monogram products until the company fixes its service standards.

Called GE customer service for…
Called GE customer service for explanation on this microwave I just bought at lowes for $300 and all I get is a bunch of lip from some jerk telling me what can I expect from it since it's warranty is only for a year. So since he won't be of help with this problem with this microwave I'm just going to box it back up and give it back to lowes and find one that's anything other than ge. I'll never buy a ge item ever again!

I am being generous giving 1 * this company is nothing short of utterly useless. How they are still operating is beyond me. It is impossible to get a response from them. Best thing that could happen is they are shut down. I ordered through wowcher paid for the goods and never received them. Despite months of trying to get my money back or the product I'm still fighting. I blame Wowcher as much as they don't respond either. HUGE BLACK MARK on them both !!!!!!!
