Gate 1 TravelReviews of gate1travel.com

I travel extensively with several tour companies. I have found the quality of the Gate 1 tours to be excellent. The tour managers are very knowledgeable of the local areas, provide great insight into the local culture, and willing to share their expertise with all the travelers. The local guides are also very good and professional. The hotels they uses are well placed and highly regarded. The tours are well organized and a great value for the price.

I’ve been on several Gate1 tours, both as a couple and solo. Gate1 folks are so welcoming and fun—every single time! And Tour Managers make or break a trip. Every single one has been spectacular—going above and beyond to ensure that every detail is handled seemingly effortlessly—when I can only imagine the back load it make every stop and guest request happen amazingly. Can you tell I’m a fan?

I had my second Gate1 trip. This time to Ireland Small group. Loved the guide, Siobhan was wonderful. The group was great. We spent 2 nights on each hotel which was great. I thoroughly loved the trip and looking forward to my next small group adventure!!

Well organized. No need to worry about details. Everything taken care of for us. Our tour guide, Deb W. Was magnificent. The hotels were A-One. I have told so many friends about Gate 1. Thank you for a wonderful experience. KS

Traveling on the Douro River Cruise was great. Very relaxing and enjoyable to see Portugal from the water and land. We had a very knowledgeable tour guide who helped us with information about the sites and planned fun activities for us. Eva was very friendly and helpful. She worked well with our activities director, Daniele. He made our trip with fun activities and wonderful local acts. I highly recommend this trip. We extended in Porto with Eva for two extra days. Excellent experience!! Thanks Gate 1 for having such a well organized team.

Our tour manager, Dimas, made all of us feel like his family. Peru is a beautiful country and very rich in not only nature sites, tourism spots, but history! The culture and typical foods were amazing. Things and places I only read about came to life for me. I still can’t believe I was really there.

Gate 1 takes care of all the details and has the best tour managers. We chose the Classic South Africa trip and it was amazing! Perfect balance of history, safaris, and even shopping! Great experiences!

Great guides, great people and awesome excursions
