GamerModzReviews of gamermodz.com

First off the communication to the consumer is not good. I had to contact them and ask what was taking so long then they tell me they were waiting for a part that they ran out of. When I finally received the controller it looked great and the mods work great too. The only negative about the controller is the analog stick is a little loose. Besides that I like it.

The functions seem to work fine but has glitches here and there. The controller looks like its bairly put together by the triggers nd the ps3 button looks to far in and the buttons are far from sensitive

Ordering was really nice, a lot of options but when the one i wanted was out and it needed ordering there was nothing there to let me know. The assembly i felt took a while. shipping was great. i dont like how i cant use my headset on my controller. When i called to see about what i could do if i could return it or what my options were no body answer and i called multiple times. I wish i knew that the controllers dont all adapt to headsets and i wish that someone would answer a phone.

The Skin doesn't even fit my remote.. for some reason.. it makes my right side buttons stick the triangle, circle, X, and square...

My son loves his custom controller. It looks good and works well. I had an issue because 2 day shipping took 13 days. Customer service blamed the post office and my email going to their junk mail file. It wasn't until day 16 they tried to file a claim, missing my son's birthday by a week. It cost $12 for priority shipping but they made no apologies or shipping adjustments.

All in all my experience with gamermodz has been positive while utilizing their service I have purchased two of their controllers In the past 3 years and while both controllers ended up being great, I have one problem that could have been handled better. they did not disclose to me upon first purchasing the remote control that there was a problem with their chrome shells. if this had been disclosed in the first place i wouldn't have purchased in the first place, opting instead with a different layout. however when making them aware of the problem their customer service rep was a bit bothered by my call as if I'm inconveniencing him! if I'm dropping $200 on a controller I expect it to be working when I get it. I understand there can be problems with anything, however some kind of compensation for this inconvenience and withholding of information was a bit disrespectful. After the remod my controller came out great, but took over a month for the order to be completed.

Shell designs look great, but the self installation is a bit tricky, the parts don't fit 100% well together. Bought a total of 5 controllers, 2 of which were install by company, 3 of them have different issues with buttons not responding properly or over reacting.

I love the custom paint, and the great customer service. The mods themselves welllllllll... a bit less than I expected. First few hours worked great, the menu button blacked out and go to heart beat mode. Now about 6 weeks later and many hours of game play the button won't black out and heart beat mode is barely noticeable. Turning on fire rate was quick and accurate, worked like a charm. Programming the fire rate was easy, and accurate, but quickly that deteriorated. It slips out of fire rate often and sometimes even shuts down. Periodically I will have to pull the batteries to reset it all back to normal. So in closing .... It's a lot of money foe something that doesn't work like intended all of the Time. Issues with programming come quick, craftsmanship of the custom paint is beautiful, just don't expect it to last forever
