This is regarding gamefly promos. If you use the free trial upgrade to the next tier, you will lose certain benefits. I have the two game a month plan and was offered a free trial for the three game a month plan for one month. I took the trial and before my next renewal date I canceled. Because of this, I lost my self return benefits. I had earned these benefits by being a paid customer for a certain amount of time and responsibly using the self return. I just want people to know you will lose the benefits you earned by using their free promos. So it might not be worth it for most people. The self return helps get my next game quicker instead of waiting.

Hi Michael, Once you downgraded from the 3 game plan back to the 2 game plan, you still have 3 games rented from us. That extra game counts as an "overage" and that does turn off the Self Return. Once you're back to renting the amount of games that fits the current plan status, your Self Return will be active again. In this case, once we get just 1 of your games back in house, you'll see Self Return appear again. You do not lose benefits when you take our upgrade promos.
