They had the best price on the camera I wanted so that was great but shipping on the other hand was painful. I ordered on a Friday around 6pm. Website says they need 2 business days to process...fine. I paid for upgraded shipping 3 day business. So I'm expecting my order to ship sometime Tuesday and it will arrive Friday. The order didn't ship until late Wednesday and because of that it was not delivered until the next Monday. So from order date to receiving the package it was a total of 10 days! Mind you I paid for upgraded shipping. Everything else was fine. The product was what I expected and like I said it was a good price.

I found the same camera on another site, said on sale but did not say refurbished like GC, my cost through GC was 161. the other site it was 144, both free shipping. I ordered some electronics from amazon dot com the same day I ordered from GC. I had already received my amazon order and myGC camera had not been shipped yet.

This was a gift so I really can't rate it. I assume that he was happy with it. I was notified when it shipped but don't know when it arrived.

I originally purchased a lens as a gift for my girlfriend that turned out to be the wrong lens for her camera. I take full responsibility for this. While it did not say in the title of the item, it did say near the end of the description the specific camera it would work with. I shipped the lens back to Gadget Circuit ASAP and did not attempt to install or use the lens. I was told that I could not get store credit for the correct lens (that was more expensive) and had to wait to buy the new lens until GC refunded my money. When they received the package, I was told that I should allow 3-5 business days for the refund to go through. On the 9th day, I received an email from GC confirming that they refunded me, but it did not post to my account. I emailed them notifying them of the situation, and received no response. 7 days after that, I was finally refunded. I ordered the correct lens immediately (as this gift was LONG overdue). The item was shown as "in stock", but I did not receive a shipment email until 8 days after that--again, no notifications or emails explaining why it was taking them so long to get the item out the door. Yesterday, another 8 days later, I finally received my lens. In the end, my girlfriend loves the lens and can't wait till she can play with it. I got what I wanted to get for her, but I did not really enjoy the whole process. I felt on many occasions that GC really didn't care, or just didn't have time to communicate with customers that encounter problems with their orders. I will likely not be shopping here again. Their prices seemed fair, but I see little reason to come back. Thanks for your time.

Recently bought a Nikon camera for a great price. It appears to be brand new and no issues yet. However, I have since discovered that it is a GRAY MARKET product. If you don't know what that is, Google it. When I called Gadget Circuit to discuss this, their explanation was that the low price should have made that obvious. I've talked to A LOT of people, friends, family, co-workers, and NO ONE I've talked to knew about the gray market. Gadget Circuit should readily display that a product is an "import" or "gray market" or "parallel market" or "not manufactured for service in the USA" or something. Based on my conversation with them, I believe this is an intentional exclusion of information. Although, I'll admit that I am happy to own a Gray Market product, because while Nikon may not service my camera, others will, and I think it's absurd that a company will jack the price on a product just because it is intended to be sold in the USA. Screw Nikon, but I love the camera.

I ordered on the morning of Dec 15th, and chose a shipping method that should have gotten the order to me in 3-4 days; ie, well before Christmas. On Dec 22 I realized I had not heard anything from Gadget Circuit after their initial email confirming receipt of my order. I called them, and they had apparently never processed it; they agreed to send it out immediately, with a free shipping upgrade to get it there by the 24th, and it did -- at 7pm on 12/24! The person I spoke with on 12/22 did a great job, but that was a little too close for comfort.

I am not sure that i ever received the exact lense I wanted and some part of this is my fault due to the weak descriptions that were provided. The thing I am most irritated with is the poor packaging of the lense I received. I will never order another item from Gadget Circuit due to not being able to trust shipment and packing.

The carmera I bought was met to be sold in China. I was cheap but I am screwed if I was any firmware updates.
