$416 USD hair deteriorated after about one month — Full Shine never even inspected it
I spent $416.54 USD on four bundles of Full Shine 100% Remy human hair. Full Shine told me the expected lifespan was approximately 3–6 months with proper care. After only about 5 weeks and 5 washes, I was already documenting significant dryness, roughness, fraying, tangling, flyaways and shedding. What I find most concerning is how Full Shine handled the quality complaint. After 27+ emails and extensive documentation, Full Shine made a determination about the quality of the hair based on photographs. They NEVER asked me to return the hair so they could physically inspect it. In fact, I repeatedly OFFERED to send the hair back. How does a company determine whether hair has a quality defect without ever seeing or feeling the actual product? Photos cannot show texture, dryness, roughness or how badly hair tangles. If Full Shine genuinely wanted to determine whether there was a product or batch issue, I would expect them to want the hair returned and inspected. Instead, they offered me a $200 partial refund + $60 gift card. Months later, after telling me my complaint was undergoing “further review,” they essentially sent me the same offer again. I wasn't asking to keep the hair and get my money back. I offered to RETURN it for inspection in exchange for a full refund. For hair represented as lasting approximately 3–6 months, having these problems after about one month was disappointing enough. The fact that the company reached a quality conclusion without ever physically inspecting the product made the experience considerably worse. I would not purchase from Full Shine again.
