Extremely poor automated (AI?) customer service. My e-mail password was rejected 3 times over the course of March 9 to 30 and it always took multiple e-mails to reinstate a new one. As I write this, I have no password. More specifically, twice when the company asked me to send them a screen shot, I did so but the response from the company gave no indication that the screen shot moved us any closer to a solution. On three occasions, they suggested speaking with a human (sic) and when I responded positively, they ignored it; no human ever called or wrote. The challenge I subscribed to specified that there was no deadline associated with it but after I had paid my fee, they advised me of a deadline; only when I protested, did they lift the deadline (but without apology for the error). In light of my experience here, it is hard to believe the glowing reports others have written. I had checked TrustPilot before signing on with this prop firm and feel something must have changed there.

Lots of hidden rules..soft breaches etc that make them close all trades without any warning.. terrible trailing drawdown that is also not mentioned.never again!..You seem like a small firm who is always prying on accounts to see which ones to mess up.
Response from FTUKFeb 20, 2026
Dear Linda, We’re genuinely sorry to read that you feel this way about your experience with us. We understand how frustrating it can be when an account is closed due to a rule breach - particularly when trading is going well beforehand. That’s never a pleasant experience for any trader. After reviewing your $10,000 Instant Funding account, our system triggered the Account Protector on 4th February due to position risk exceeding the permitted limits. The Account Protector is an automated safeguard designed to prevent accounts from breaching maximum loss parameters in a single move. We do outline how this mechanism works, including soft breaches and trailing drawdown rules, within our FAQs and account documentation. You can read more about the Account Protector here: https://faq.ftuk.com/en/articles/12332935-what-is-the-account-protector That said, if anything felt unclear, we genuinely encourage traders to contact our support team before trading so we can clarify parameters in detail. Our aim is never to “catch traders out,” but to apply the same risk framework consistently across all accounts. These safeguards are in place to promote long-term sustainability and risk control. We’d be more than happy to review the situation with you again directly and walk through the trade history step by step if that would help provide clarity. Please feel free to reach out to our support team so we can assist further. Kind regards, FTUK Team

Not going to use it again rules are too strict tho I passed the challenge of making £6000 profit for the 100k account at some point I had a live position open when I was in profit £5000 at £105000 that position went to -2000 which was under my daily drawdown and under my daily loss as I was £5000 in profit anyway that position didn’t close was left open and it went to positive balance from £103000 to £106000 as I passed the challenge and waiting for my live account credentials I have received an email saying I have breached the 2 percent rule of negative love balance nonsense I had with these 8 accounts some of them passed some of them failed but I have never received a payout as it’s always some nonsense reason for them not to pay me. Do not waste your money and time it’s a scam. Do yourselves a favour and go with big established companies have a Google search pick the biggest one with the longest history of being on the market and go with that

Account Terminated Before Payout – Extremely Disappointing Experience ...... I had an instant funded account with FTUK and built the account up to approximately $14,500 in profit, with a $12,000 balance. My account was disabled just $300 before reaching the payout threshold. After passing their interview process, instead of processing the payout, I was informed that my account was under review. Shortly after, the account was terminated under “Multiple Location Activity.” I have never intentionally traded from multiple countries, nor have I used any VPS service. The issue appears to relate to an IP classification matter, yet no detailed technical evidence was provided beyond general statements. What concerns me most is the timing — the termination occurred immediately before payout eligibility, and my follow-up emails requesting clarification and escalation were ignored. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled. Transparency, clear evidence, and proper communication are essential in this industry, especially when significant profits are involved. I hope the company reconsiders how these situations are managed in the future.
Response from FTUKFeb 19, 2026
Dear Ahmed, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand that having an account terminated is frustrating, particularly when approaching a payout threshold. However, we must clarify that this decision was not related to profitability or timing. This account had previously received multiple successful payouts, which further demonstrates that FTUK processes withdrawals in accordance with our program rules when all requirements are met. Following a detailed compliance review, the account was found to have been accessed from multiple geographic locations on the same trading day. Under our program rules, accounts must be operated consistently from a single declared location, and any conflicting access patterns are treated as a serious breach of the agreement. We provided the relevant connection records directly and conducted a comprehensive internal review before confirming the final decision. While we appreciate the later explanation regarding a possible background VPN connection, maintaining account environment integrity remains the trader’s responsibility under the terms accepted at registration. FTUK enforces its rules consistently across all accounts, regardless of profit size, and we remain committed to fair and transparent treatment for all participants. Regards, FTUK Risk Team

I passed their 2 Step Challenge and was supposed to get funded but today I got an email saying I breached their hidden 30 second rule despite buying the NEWS ADDON with my account?! Stay FAR away from them too many hidden rules including a hidden 10 day consistency rule once you do get funded.
Response from FTUKFeb 10, 2026
Dear Lamonte, We’re sorry to see your review and understand how disappointing this situation must be. We’ve reached out to you here on Trustpilot so our support team can get in touch and review this with you directly. At FTUK, we aim to keep trading rules to a minimum, but we do consistently enforce the ones we believe are important in maintaining fair and professional trading standards across all accounts. There are no hidden rules. All trading conditions are clearly documented in our FAQ section. In particular, the permitted number of trades closed within 30 seconds is outlined in the Account Breaches section and is publicly available here: https://faq.ftuk.com/en/articles/12339790-what-are-account-breaches Once we have your details, our support team will be happy to walk through the breach and answer any questions you may have. Kind regards, FTUK Support

They have a Payout Locker system that makes it difficult to withdraw profits of funded account. You must have 10 trading days with at least 0.5% profit. After a payout, the maximum draw-down changes, so you need to leave a sufficient profit buffer. This goes far beyond filtering out gamblers and is unreasonably restrictive. I wouldn’t recommend this prop firm unless you’re a high win-rate scalper.
Response from FTUKFeb 6, 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to see a one-star review, particularly as several points raised are factually inaccurate and may mislead other readers. Like all proprietary trading firms, FTUK employs structured risk management mechanisms to ensure long-term sustainability for both traders and the firm. The Payout Locker does not prevent traders from withdrawing profits. Traders are able to withdraw their earned profits in full. The Payout Locker is only applied after a payout has been made and does not restrict access to profits that have already been earned. Its purpose is to limit 'post-payout downside risk', discouraging excessive leverage and gambling behaviour after profits have been secured. This protects both the trader’s equity curve and the firm from unnecessary exposure following a successful withdrawal. This is a standard and transparent risk control, not a withdrawal restriction. The claim that this is a “hidden system” is also incorrect. FTUK has consistently ensured that all trading rules and mechanisms are clearly documented and publicly available. The Payout Locker is fully explained in our FAQ section, including the rationale behind its use. A detailed explanation can be found here: https://faq.ftuk.com/en/articles/12339847-what-is-the-payout-locker Finally, FTUK offers multiple funding models designed for different experience levels and trading styles. Traders who do not wish to operate under this specific risk management mechanism can choose an alternative account type. Notably, the Payout Locker does not apply to our flagship Instant Funding Program. We encourage prospective traders to review our rules carefully and select the account structure that best suits their approach to risk. Regards, FTUK Risk Team
