I am a precision craftsman and I wish the QC on the final product was MUCH BETTER for this overpriced trailer. I paid for the AC unit and support package and was promised in 6 weeks and after weekly prodding it was delivered in 8 weeks (exact unit was available in 2 days from Amazon). While removing specialty self tapping screws for the insulation improvements- 6 of the lower screws on two OSB sheets were twisted off and left in place holding NOTHING. WHEN I finally received the AC unit and supports they quickly unloaded and left before I noticed the unit did not include the the interior parts (filter / switch / diverter assembly) and I had to call them to point out that their unit was incomplete (duh really) and they said they would contact Featherlite and have one shipped to me ASAP- along with a confirmation email.--7 days- no reply to date. Some of the interior MIG aluminum welding is (rookie quality). I really expect more quality for the $$$$$. Even if its a utilty 1610 model. I spoke with featherlite employee and he told me they were understaffed 100 people- out there in the stix Sport Chassis of Texas was the only one in Texas that had this particular unit "on hand" and this dealer was friendly - but S_L_O_W for most response's.

Purchased a new Featherlite 4941 trailer in July 2016. I have had aprox. 8 rivets in the nose of the trailer with severe water leaking problems. The original dealer was about 500 miles away so I contacted 3 dealers within 150 miles of my area code and was told that they were not interested in water leak repairs. At this point I spent many hours diagnosing the problem and repaired it myself. It was obvious to me that Featherlite has a design problem with there gooseneck trailers. I did contact corporate about my problem and was told that they were aware of there design problem but basically that it was something that they would try to correct in the future. Be aware !

The trailer is wonderful. The customer service not so much. Major problem with the salesman not following up on the titlework. I was unable to get a trailer license plate and could not drive the trailer from 5/6 - 5/28. I was given temporary tag which expired on 5/6. I went to the DMV three times and they said I needed a memorandum of title == so I asked the salesman for this -- numerous times -- and never received it. Did not receive follow up calls either just emails saying it wasn't Featherlite's fault, it was the lender's fault. After I called the lender, the title had been filled out incorrectly. I feel the salesman should have followed up with me personally. By the way I purchased the trailer in March! Lisa

One might think if you spend 100,000.00 on a trailer that you wouldn't have to fix an electrical​ problem right away or deal with a water line that had a hole in it or have to re caulk the shower so it doesn't leak water on the floor when it is used. But besides that great trailer

I have a 9407, 2015 - so it has no ramp, just two doors in back, straight load. We use it 3 to 5 times a week between lessons, fox hunting, shows, and trail rides. I used it to move my 4 horses from Texas to SC, two trips. In my search, nationwide, I reviewed pretty much every Aluminum built trailer out there. I Love the one piece top roof - not seamed pieces like many other trailers. I Love the folded seams of the aluminum sheets on sides, reducing leakes. I have big horses, loved the extra size I got in this particular trailer. Issues First, all three doors have design flaws. Both back doors, and especially the tack room door swing open freely. They can open beyond the breath or width of their hinges - so the doors begin to bend and ruin their seal to close almost immediately. Especially if it is windy where ever you trailer. So, do not leave the doors open freely. Close or immediately use the open latches to lock them open. This is hard to do if it is just you by yourself, but a must. Second - as noted below in another review, the sliding widows are not the greatest. They either do not slide at all, or slide so easily that the seal is loose and allows rain in. My right hind side is soaked on the inside every time it rains, and the steady leak is behind the padding so I have no clue where it is coming in from - the side window or rear, or both. I have sat in my trailer during rain storms and still cannot tell. But, the entire back floor gets soaked. Third - Manger Tie Hooks. Where to tie your horse. In this model, the front of the hay manger has two round cleaves riveted to front wall. Between the horse and those places to tie your horse goes hay. 1. The ties are not easy to get to. I have not found any "Trailer Ties" that fit the distance, so I use a lead rope dedicated to this funtion, but still real hard to tie it in. 2. Once the horse is tied safely, there is the problem of the hay, it sits right where the tie goes and makes the whole eating hay and being tied safely an issue. I do not have an answer to resolve this - but, again, a design flaw: poor placement of the tie cleaves for trailered horses. I sent an email to Featherlite after the purchase and received no response. I also mentioned this in the post sales survey I received and had no response.

Not very good quality when it comes to the window frames, example" when I go to shut the drop down window the latch doesn't catch because it bends back! you use cheap material!

I was promised a spare tire with my horse trailer but never received it. I saw no where to post to your reply, but yes I discussed it with the on site Featherlite representative. I have also followed up several times.

Featherlite did replace the panels but I felt it should not have happened at all. Why would you buy a trailer that could so easily get twisted in a SD wind?
