Our balm formulas are highly concentrated and made with rich botanical ingredients such as sea buckthorn, which naturally gives the product its warm tone. In many cases, using a much smaller amount helps the product blend more evenly into the skin. Hi, thank you for sharing your experience. Our products are highly concentrated and formulated with rich natural ingredients, so only a very small amount is needed per application. Applying too much product can sometimes leave a heavier finish on the skin, especially with deeply nourishing balm-based formulas. The natural orange tint comes from nutrient-rich botanical ingredients such as sea buckthorn and other plant extracts used in our formulations. For many skin types, using a smaller amount and gently warming the balm between the fingertips before application helps it absorb more evenly.
