I bought this product a few months ago. It was on the pricy end but I wanted an organic moisturiser without retinol. Im changing my retinol use and so I stopped completely for 3 months and used this product. The 1st batch I received was good if oily. Generally, made my skins feel better. Though it did not deliver on the advertised anti aging claims and my fine lines looked the same mostly. The under eye cream especially is oily and had no effect. The real problem came with the 2nd delivery. This version of the product was much more oily and didn't not have the same texture. It instead felt like a cheaper vaseline basis rather than the thicker beeswax. See photos showing that the colours are also different. I tried to highlight this to the customer service and was told that they could only return unopened products and that in their view the colours seem perfect. They offered no support. I can understand that they might have fluctuating colours etc but this seems more than that and the product is clearly cheaper. Other people on reddit have also claimed the same that the 1st order was great while the 2nd was much more inferior. Also looking into it this is the same company as Norse Organics and they sell the same product for a marked up price. I cancelled my subscription and I would not advise to buy. There are cheaper and better products out there. Note: the company claims that retinol thins the skin, this claim is not backed up by clinical trials. If you don't want to use retinols for any other reason then go ahead with this (but that claim is not true).

As someone who runs an e-commerce business myself, I understand the need for structure and consistency but I also believe in making room for common sense and goodwill, especially when it comes to repeat customers. I noticed a significant discrepancy between the USD price and the converted SEK total at checkout, due to currency being tied to the delivery country. I asked for a small additional discount less than 10% to bring the price in line, but there was no willingness to accommodate. It wasn’t about the amount, it was about the principle. The rigid response and lack of flexibility made me feel undervalued as a returning customer. Unfortunately, they’ve lost me because of it.

I ordered one item and realized that I had ordered it in error after using it just one time. I contacted them and was told that I could only be refunded if I had not used the product. How are you supposed to know how the product works without using it? They contacted me yesterday and offered a 60% discount which I accepted. Lesson learned always check return refund policy.

The company advertises a “no questions asked 60 day money back guarantee.” It is not until after purchase that a customer becomes aware this guarantee requires photographic evidence that the products did not “work” for you. You must also fill out extensive forms and the guarantee only applies to one product. I unfortunately purchased two. I refused to release my photographs to them because the photos are personal and almost medical in nature. They have customer photos all over their website and I can’t be sure what they do with the photos and did not want to risk my photos being used by this company. The products made me break out in a rash and were honestly sort of like applying a salve to my face….they have the greasy and oily consistency of a salve. Heavy products tend to make my rosacea flare because they do not allow my skin to breathe and this is exactly what happened here. To top it off they were not professional and kept excessively using emojis in their communications with me which made me feel like I was talking to my teenage daughter rather than a company. I also felt like they were being passive aggressive with their use of emojis. Telling me that I should not receive the benefits of a subscription (a discount on my first order) unless I made more than one purchase with them. Don’t offer subscriptions to first time buyers if the benefits are not for first time buyers. It’s very simple. I feel they did not treat me with respect and I would never purchase anything else from them. I had such a better experience with a different company….Spoiled Child. In comparison to Froya organics SC has them beat in every way. When I cancelled my subscription with SC (simply due to not wanting a subscription and wanting to purchase as needed) they sent me a $120 coupon to try to retain my business. Froya Organics would not even honor their promised guarantee with a refund of $74. My experience with Froya has been terrible and while SC has retained a customer for life….Froya does not seem to be interested in retaining customers this way and battled me over $70 for weeks. I never received a refund (they did give me a partial refund on one product but only after weeks of back and forth and it was not worth the hassle) and I reported them to the attorney general and to the Federal Trade Commission for falsely advertising a “no questions guarantee” that has so many questions that there is literal paperwork a customer must fill out. I also feel they have no right to demand photgraphic “proof” when they advertise a “no questions” guarantee. I’ve never had a skincare company demand pictures of my skin conditions to obtain a refund. I advise against doing business with this company. My experience with them did not show them to be ethical or professional. They used crying emojis…..it felt like they were mocking me. It was just not a good experience and I ended up paying to be treated poorly. The products themselves were not of the quality I expected and I personally just don’t like smearing greasy salve on my face. Especially since it made my skin conditions worse and my reaction did not resolve for weeks after discontinuing using their products. The products also were nearly incompatible with makeup as my face was so oily and yet still dry because there is no water in the products, just oil. They then suggested I share my used skincare products (that I had been putting my fingers in for two weeks) with “friends” because my friends would be so impressed because their products “are the best in the world”! That’s literally something they wrote me in the 18 emails between us to obtain a partial refund….I told them that was like suggesting I share a tin of lip balm with my friends and I threw the products in the trash. It takes a lot for me to throw out a product but….making my rosacea flare up, treating me poorly and then suggesting I share products in an unsanitary manner is about all it takes…..I don’t “share” my used personal care products. It made me feel uncertain about the products being sanitary to begin with. Skincare 101: if you dip your fingers in it…it is not a “shareable” product. If you are looking for a good skin care company this is not what I found with Froya Organics. I would never recommend Froya to anyone. I am an Aveda grad and I know quality skincare. This is not what I found with Froya. I personally found them to be quite unprofessional. What is with the emojis? Just stop….i do not want my skincare company to communicate with me using emojis. I felt like I was communicating with a teenager. I felt they were unprofessional and I do not trust their products or their company.

Froya Organics - complete scam!!! Once you buy any of their products, they claim you have subscribed and send you their products on a monthly basis and of course charge you again and again. The products are a complete waste of money! They leave your skin greasy and yellow. If you try to cancel the subscription, you won't even find such an option on your account! BE CAREFUL! Also they don't pay for a refund label and you have to pay the return fees yourself.

Buyer BEWARE! I did not believe all the bad reviews and people saying they do not refund as promised. I don’t normally trust reviews. So when I reached out in my first correspondence with them I was under the impression that they were a kind, reputable company with integrity. I wrote to them after being charged, unexpectedly, to let them know I never signed up for a subscription. They said to return the package upon receipt and they would refund me. At this point I’m thinking they are great, handled everything very easy. I returned the package immediately with signed confirmation, cost me $20 to do this. They received it June 2nd and didn’t bother giving me a refund. They proceeded to charge me AGAINNN 8am July 25th. I reached out within an hour saying once again that I NEVER signed up for a subscription, to not ship and cancel the order and I also asked them why they had not refunded me for the returned package. On the current package they claimed it was too late to stop shipment even though I contacted within an hour. First order took forever to get out of their warehouse, this one they magically got out immediately. On the returned package, they assumed I would not be able to provide proof because I was honest and shared that I was desperately searching for the tracking information and I showed them the transaction from my bank account in the meantime as proof. The responded in 2 separate emails definitively stating they never received my returned package and told me to go to the shipper to deal with it. Once I provided proof of delivery with signature, they responded that they don’t have anyone at their office by that name. Where does this leave the consumer? When I originally reached out I explained I could not have this money taken from my account as my husband became ill suddenly. The second time I reached out I explained that he had now passed away. With this knowledge they still treated me this way. They did finally refund me for the first after all, and now after all of that, they expect me to just trust them that they will do the right thing on the current package when I return it with their return label they provided this time (without signature confirmation). I should have known better with their marketing as well. They have ads stating “Bittersweet Goodbye” in red on top giving the impression they are going out of business due to tariffs. In the body they say to get your product now before tariffs force price increase. I brushed it off. I don’t understand why they have to be so greedy with such a great product. I am sure they are doing extremely well as the product speaks for itself. I would have loved to continue purchasing as I needed, not on subscription I never signed up for. Now, admittedly, Im concerned and have to wonder about other things. Having this experience with them has been incredibly disheartening. I come from the ecom space and believe in customer service first and foremost.

Update: they did cancel my subscription but I had to threaten to sue and point out that I never agreed to a certain number of purchases. THIS IS STILL A SHIT PRODUCT and lots of others have had horrible customer service experiences that did not end like mine. I feel duped. The products don’t work, the money back guarantee is a hoax, this is NOT a Norwegian company - it’s in Texas - and I never acknowledged that by subscribing I had to complete two orders before canceling but now I can’t cancel subscription until I drop another $140 on this garbage. So I have to spend almost $300 just for a $20 shitty gift set? No thank you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ITS A SCAM.

Where do I start...You can rub and rub it will not absorb so you walk around greasy looking and orange. You are forced to purchase something else before you can cancel your subscription. It does not hydrate. Steer clear of this company you'll be wasting your money. The only way you can get your money back is to send before and after photos.
