Hi Malin,
Thank you for sharing your feedback... we’re truly sorry for any confusion or frustration this situation may have caused. We’d like to kindly clarify that subscriptions are never activated automatically. Customers must actively select the subscription option at checkout, which is always clearly associated with a special discounted price as a benefit for choosing recurring orders.
Our subscriptions are designed for recurring deliveries and come with special discounted benefits. That said, if at any point you need assistance, we are always happy to help personally with the cancellation and review your case with care.
Our support channel is always open, and we would truly love the opportunity to assist you directly. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] , so we can look into this together and make sure everything is properly handled for you.
Warm regards,
Erikah

Misleading, Opaque and Appalling Customer Service
My experience with Frøya Organics has been nothing short of appalling. A subscription appeared on my account without my clear consent, and when I tried to cancel it immediately, the website simply didn’t allow it. My cancellation request was ignored by AIbot messages and the order was shipped anyway despite the promise my message would be handled by a human.
Support is effectively nonexistent. I was promised a prepaid return label — which never arrived. After my first Trustpilot review, I finally received a human reply, but still no return label. When I followed up, I was AGAIN answered by a bot. In my experience, the company does not care about its customers and does not keep its promises.
I was told my subscriptions had been cancelled, yet my online portal still shows upcoming deliveries, making me seriously doubt anything has been resolved.
It now appears that this second review is necessary just to finally secure:
1. cancellation of all subscriptions, and
2. the prepaid return label that should have been provided from the start.
I have already blocked all future payments through my credit card provider. I want my money refunded and no further connection with this company.

Hi Docter,
We are truly sorry to read about your experience and for the level of frustration this situation has caused you. This is absolutely not the type of experience we ever want a customer to have, and we sincerely regret that you felt ignored, unsupported, or misled at any point.
Subscriptions are never activated without customer confirmation, and we’re very sorry to hear that the cancellation and return process felt confusing and frustrating on your end. Our intention is always for this experience to be clear, smooth, and properly supported with human follow-up, and we truly regret that this was not how it felt for you.
At the moment, we’re unable to locate your order based solely on this review. Please contact us directly at [email protected] , as I truly want to personally assist you and help resolve this as quickly as possible. I will take care of your case from this point forward with full attention and transparency.
Warm regards,

I really wanted to love Froya Organics
10/12/2025: Let me be very clear. I don’t mind skincare brands promoting their products. What I do mind is being treated like people who have never opened a science book, or worse, people who can’t recognize a biological impossibility when they see one.
I recently came across an advertisement claiming that a simple “anti-aging balm” made a deep post-surgery facial scar vanish in two weeks. Not improve. Not soften. Disappear. In. Fourteen. Days.
Scientifically, that is about as realistic as regrowing a missing limb after applying enough moisturizer.
Let’s quickly revisit how human skin works (I know the marketers skipped this part):
1. Inflammation (days 1–7) – red, swollen, stitches, the whole party.
2. Proliferation (days 7–21) – pink, raised, fragile tissue.
3. Remodeling (up to 12 months) – the scar slowly flattens and fades.
4. Maturation (12–24 months) – final appearance.
No cream, no serum, no magical balm overrides human physiology. Even NASA doesn’t have that technology, but apparently this company does.
The before/after pictures in the ad were even more insulting:
• The “before” photo showed fresh stitches.
• The “after 2 weeks” photo showed a perfectly smooth cheek, no redness, no swelling, no scar — essentially a completely healed face, the kind that usually appears MONTHS after surgery, not days.
Different lighting, different angle, different skin texture… possibly even a different person.
But sure, let’s pretend it was the cream.
Using cancer patients’ stories as emotional bait is not marketing, it’s manipulation.
And no amount of glossy packaging can hide that.
I have completely lost trust in brands that rely on fabricated testimonials and biologically impossible results. If your product worked even half as well as your advertisement claims, you wouldn’t need AI-generated stories, miracle timelines, or misleading photos.
Please respect your customers’ intelligence.
Some of us actually understand how skin healing works.
Until then:
0/5 – Great science fiction, terrible skincare.
09/12/2025: I'm requested to send more info to Froya Organics but I cannot even find my order ! I did buy the day & night cream. I can send you a pic with me on it and the date ! So, here is another issue... No client order history. We cannot find our orders... If you cannot either, I don't know what to say. It's even worse.
I really wanted to love Froya Organics, but I’m not fully convinced. The textures of the day and night creams are pleasant, but I have the strange feeling that the products are not as hydrating as expected. I often feel the need to reapply, which makes me question the real effectiveness of the formulas.
What also disappointed me is the lack of transparency:
– no clear indication of active ingredient concentrations,
– no scientific explanation of how the formulas work,
– and no clinical data to support the anti-age claims.
For a brand that positions itself as high-quality and plant-based, these details matter.
On top of that, some of the marketing practices feel misleading. The famous “–50%” discount only applies if you activate the subscription for the expensive pack at 287€ and only to the first order. This is not clearly communicated and creates a false sense of affordability.
I was also surprised to see the brand strongly criticising ingredients like retinol or hyaluronic acid without offering any scientific evidence. This kind of fear-based messaging feels more like marketing than skincare education.
Overall, I’m left uncertain and unconvinced.
The creams are pleasant to use, but the hydration is not strong enough for me, and the lack of transparency combined with the promotional tactics makes me hesitate to trust the brand fully.
I hope Froya will improve its communication and offer clearer, more honest information in the future.

Hi Cynthia, thank you so much for sharing your honest experience with us. We’re truly sorry for the frustration this caused and we completely understand your concerns.
After carefully reviewing our records, we weren’t able to find any previous direct conversation with you, which makes us think your earlier message may not have reached the correct channel. For that reason, we’ve now reached out to you personally by email, because your experience truly matters to us and we’d love the opportunity to speak with you directly.
We completely understand your concerns about hydration, as every skin type is different and factors like absorption, climate, and skin condition can greatly influence how a product feels and performs.
Regarding our formulas, we openly list all ingredients, while exact concentrations remain part of our protected formulation, as is standard in the skincare industry. Transparency, safety, and quality are very important to us, and your feedback has been taken seriously.
We truly hope to have the opportunity to speak with you, clarify everything, and help you feel heard, supported, and truly cared for.
Warm regards,

They are Texas based, give Ragweed allergies from Thistle oil
They are Texas based.
They are not Norwegian.
Their satisfaction guarantee is impossible to complete.
They want before and after photos of your skin after **90 days of use**, and the product back.
**The thistle oil in all products has a probability of activating ragweed allergies.**
Texas scammers. All hat, no cattle.
Edit: the response from Froya is hilarious. No, guys. I already talked to several of your customer service representatives. I responded to your email surveys. You guys are impossible to deal with. I'm going to my credit card for help.
The cost for the bundle was around $250 or so, and I don't intend to let such a dishonest company keep it.
And to be clear, the thistle oil issue is a very common possible cross reaction. It should be disclosed, or use a less allergenic alternative used. Ragweed is a VERY common allergy.
But they don't care.
Response from Froya OrganicsDec 11, 2025
Hi Lauren, thank you for sharing your concerns. We’re truly sorry to hear that this was your impression, and we take any feedback related to allergies or product safety very seriously.
To clarify, while our company is registered in Texas , our formulations are inspired by Scandinavian skincare and made with plant-based, Arctic-inspired botanicals. All ingredients are clearly listed on our official website so customers can always review them prior to use.
Regarding allergies: as with any skincare product, sensitivities can vary from person to person, especially for individuals with known reactions to certain plants. This is why we always encourage customers to review ingredients carefully to ensure compatibility with their skin.
Our satisfaction guarantee is designed to support our customers throughout their experience, and we’re always here to help explain how it works or assist with any concerns.
We were unable to locate an order or communication under your name, and we would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can better understand your experience and offer proper support.
Your feedback matters to us, and we are here to clarify anything you may need. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]
Have a lovely day.

Deeply Misleading and Financially Opaque
My experience with Frøya Organics has been defined by unclear communication and a complete lack of financial transparency. I discovered a subscription on my account that I never knowingly agreed to. When I tried to cancel it immediately, the website simply didn’t allow it.
Instead of real support, I was met with a chatbot that claimed my issue would be sent to a human agent. Nothing happened — except that my order was shipped anyway, despite my attempt to stop it.
The company provides no straightforward explanation of charges, subscriptions, or future payments, which makes the entire process feel intentionally confusing and deeply untrustworthy.
I’ve since asked my credit card provider to block all future transactions from this company. I want my money refunded, and I want absolutely no further connection with Frøya Organics.
This is, in my experience, a company that operates with misleading practices and financial opacity — and consumers deserve better.
UPDATE dec 7th 2025 - Customer service, a human this time for publicly sharing experience apparently helps) got in touch after the bad review, promising me a prepaid return label as a ‘service’. No label received. When following up, I again encountered their bot, leaving me without an option to return the products I already cancelled after ending up in a subscription I never asked for.
I still have not received a return label, nor are my subscriptions cancelled (they say they are but they are still planned in my online account and I cannot adjust this myself). What a scam!
UPDATE dec 8th: email of the supervisor regarding the unwillingness to provide me with the shipping label (not possible.):
“I am the supervisor, and we cannot offer you that. The only thing I can do for you is process a refund if you are willing to remove those bad Trustpilot reviews.”
Your request that I remove my Trustpilot reviews in exchange for you processing a refund is inappropriate and violates consumer protection standards as well as Trustpilot’s guidelines, which explicitly prohibit asking customers to alter or remove reviews in return for financial compensation.
Response from Froya OrganicsDec 11, 2025
Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I’m truly sorry to hear how frustrating this felt for you.
I’d like to gently clarify that we cannot subscribe customers on our end... subscriptions can only be activated directly by the customer during checkout, usually when selecting the discounted subscription option instead of the one-time purchase. The subscription discount is meant only as a benefit for customers who wish to receive their products regularly at a lower price.
If at any point the system doesn’t allow a cancellation, please know that our team is available 24/7 and always ready to help. We can cancel any subscription immediately upon request.
I also wasn’t able to locate any order under your name, which makes me worry that something may not have gone through correctly. Please write to me at [email protected] so I can personally review your account, cancel any active subscriptions, and assist you step by step.
You don’t need to worry! I will take care of everything for you.
Your experience truly matters to us, and I’m here to support you.

Nordic poetry on the label — American warehouse in customer service.
The brand sells itself wrapped in a poetic Nordic mythos — gods, mists, stars, rituals. I even received a letter in verse signed by “Frøya” announcing the shipping of my balm.
But when a problem arises — when a customer expresses a genuine concern — the enchantment vanishes. The response from customer support was dry, generic, and showed no empathy, nor any trace of the language, care, or symbolism the brand claims to embody.
Later, they explained variations in the product by citing logistical convenience — saying they produce by continent “to ensure quality compliance.” The tone was more retail chain than sacred ritual.
The truth is simple: this is an American company using European aesthetics and poetic language as commercial veneer. The spirit they promise is not present in what they do — only in what they say.
And for a European, the dissonance is stark.
Beautifully wrapped. Poorly upheld.
- Updated review following the company’s public response:
As expected, in the public space of Trustpilot, the company replied with warmth, kind words and carefully crafted phrases.
Unfortunately, the private experience was very different. For several days, I was passed through automated replies, with no meaningful human contact. The few messages that appeared to be from an actual staff member consisted of a single dry paragraph — with no courtesy or genuine engagement.
As for the product itself: I have used exclusively natural cosmetics for years, and I am intimately familiar with what true natural fragrances are. What I experienced here was not a subtle botanical note — it was a strong, intrusive odour, which, once applied to the skin, resembled the smell of fried cooking oil.
It is unfortunate that I had to come to a public platform to receive any form of attention.

Dear Antonio,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience with Frøya Organics. We genuinely appreciate your insights, as they help us improve our services and better serve our customers.
I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet the expectations set by our brand's ethos. We strive to embody the spirit of care and connection in all aspects of our business, and it’s disheartening to learn that you felt this was lacking in our customer support response.
Regarding the concerns you raised about the odor of the products, I want to clarify that our formulations are crafted using natural ingredients, and we do not add any synthetic fragrances or perfumes. As a result, the scent you may notice is subtle and derived solely from the ingredients themselves, which we believe enhances the authenticity of our products.
I understand that the characteristics of the products did not align with your expectations, and I empathize with your situation. However, as per our policy, we are unable to accept returns on used products. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and integrity of our offerings for all customers.
That said, we value your feedback and would like to explore alternative solutions to address your concerns, please contact us via email!

So inappropriate, and seedy! Absolute worst customer service.
Absolute worst customer service, so incredibly rude.
I was signed up to a subscription with out my knowledge.
When i got an email in the morning saying it would sent out to me, i emailed them straight away asking what it was, and not to send it.
I was reassure it had not been processed, or shipped, and it wouldn't be if i told them not to. Which i did so straight away, i asked them again not to process it, and cancelled the subscription with the link they sent.
I got an email later in the afternoon from a human, stating that i was talking to a bot earlier and they did not cancel anything and it had been shipped out in the meantime.
They told me follow the link to return it.
I told them i was happy to return it but as it was a mistake on their behalf shipping it out after being told it wouldnt be, i would like a prepaid postage label.
This they refused, and then started to get really rude. Being hugely condescending and disrespectful with their replies, using incredibly inappropriate winking emojis.
This company has a message that come across so wholesome, but it turns out they are simply unprofessional and seedy.
Response from Froya OrganicsDec 5, 2025
Dear Laura,
Thank you for sharing your experience, and I’m truly sorry for the frustration this situation caused. This is not the level of clarity or care we want our customers to feel.
I understand how confusing the subscription option can be, and we will review how we present this to make it clearer. When your cancellation request reached our team, the order had unfortunately already entered the shipping process, and I’m sorry for the mixed messages you received in the meantime.
We appreciate your willingness to return the parcel. While we don’t offer prepaid return labels, your refund will be processed promptly as soon as the item is received.
I’m especially sorry if any part of our communication felt rude or unprofessional. That is never our intention, and we’re taking your feedback seriously as we work to improve how we interact with our customers.
If there’s anything more we can do to help, please feel free to reach out. We’re here for you.

moisturiser and glow truly disappointing
I recently purchased the moisturiser a glow balm. The balm was too thick to apply to my skin, even once applied in small amounts, my skin just looked orange and it took ages for the product to sink in. I even tried warming it in my hands to make it more pliable. The orange tint stained clothing etc I cancelled my subscription which they acknowledged but have not returned the payment they have taken. The marketing for this company suggested it is wholesome, organic, instead it is your usual big business with a mediocre product. Constantly have to email their chatbot. Extremely disappointing product. Not as promised. I continually receive messages from their chat not but no one seems capable of a refund.
