The day balm turns your skin orange, even after trying to use just a tiny amount of product it looks like fake tan gone wrong so there is no way you can go out like this in the day. I was also signed up to a subscription without realising taking over £100 from my account when I didn’t want any more. Can’t say I’ve noticed any difference positive or negative after using this. It’s just very oily and sticky and doesn’t absorb into your skin so your walking round in an orange grease slick

Hi Debbie, we’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration. Our products are made with rich, highly concentrated ingredients designed to deeply nourish and hydrate the skin, so the texture and finish may feel different depending on skin type and the amount applied.
The charge you mentioned is likely related to the subscription selected at checkout, but we’d still like to review everything with you directly and make sure this is properly resolved. Please contact us at [email protected] with your order details so our team can assist you further.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Put on subscription that I never signed up for
Bought two products to use for 60 days, no results = money back. Only to get 70$ drawn for another purchase I haven't done, within those 60 days. So now I have a subscription and package on the way, and I'm not seeing any results. Of course Costumer Service won't answer my emails or requests on instagram - however they do delete all my comments regarding this on their instagram page. I feel scammed!

Hi Cami,
First of all, I’m truly very sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration this situation has caused you.
I’d really like to personally look into this for you, because after reviewing our support inbox, I can confirm that our request queue is fully up to date and we currently do not have any unanswered emails or delays. This makes me think there may have been some kind of internal delivery issue and that we unfortunately never received your message.
Would you mind sharing the email address you used to contact us here, please? I’ll personally review your case and help you directly from here.

Overpriced and ineffective product
Overpriced and ineffective product. Didn’t do anything for my eczema or my breakouts. Company did not notify me of an upcoming order so I could cancel it, it shipped out and when I attempted to immediately return the unopened package back to them they were unwilling to refund any portion of the order, and sent a generic impersonal response. Horrific customer experience!

Hi Arin,
We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience with both our products and customer support left you feeling disappointed and frustrated.
After reviewing your case, we can confirm that a renewal reminder email was sent prior to the subscription order being processed, as outlined in our subscription policy. However, we completely understand that this situation still felt upsetting, especially since the products did not work as you had hoped and you wished to return the unopened order.
Your feedback has been shared internally with our support team so we can continue improving how we communicate and handle situations like this in the future.
We genuinely appreciate you giving Frøya a try and are sorry we did not provide the experience you expected.

SCAM ALERT!
These products did not do anything at all for my skin. If anything, after stopping my old routine and starting this one - the cleansing scrub, glow day balm and wrinkle eraser night balm - my skin looked worse than ever. Dehydrated and more fine lines.
Whilst I understand that they won't work for everyone, after I didn't manage to cancel the subscription of the wrinkle balm and I was notified that it was paid for and in transit - I emailed expressing this and asked if they would accept a return of the unopened and sealed product. I was told no, they don't accept returns! I think this is really bad business and in this economy when we are struggling to get by now I have an expensive product that there's no point in even using. Be very careful. This company use strong marketing tactics to draw you in and won't even accept a fair return when a product hasn't worked for you.
When I commented on their Instagram, I had replies stating that they delete all negative comments! This to me is shady and not what's id expect from any brand, let alone an expensive one, with such claims! Very unhappy with this interaction!

Hi NC,
We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience with both the products and our policies left you feeling disappointed.
We completely understand that skincare is very personal, and while many customers love our formulas, we also understand that not every product will work the same way for every skin type. We’re genuinely sorry the products did not meet your expectations.
Regarding the subscription, it was designed as a benefit for our recurring customers, allowing them to receive discounts and better pricing on their orders. Customers are always able to cancel their subscription at any time, and it is never intended to create a negative experience. We simply ask that cancellations are made before the next order is processed.
We also want to reassure you that we do not remove negative comments simply for being negative. As you can see across different platforms, we have both positive and negative reviews publicly available. In some situations, comments may be removed by the client when there has been a misunderstanding, external communication issues, or once a situation has been resolved and the customer feels supported again.
We serve thousands of customers every week, and while issues can occasionally happen, we are always willing to review situations carefully and do our best to help. We truly believe there is a solution to every situation, and we always aim to turn difficult experiences into positive ones through communication and support.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely appreciate it and are sorry again that your experience did not reflect the level of care we strive to provide.
If you’re open to it, please feel free to email us at [email protected] and we’d be happy to continue the conversation and help however we can.
Warm regards,

Extreme warning: not for all skin types
I had to come back and edit this review which initially focused on the good customer service because in reality my skin has been ruined by this product. I used this product from January 2026 to May 2026. After the first month or so, I noticed millea beginning to form rather rapidly. I thought that maybe because of the oil-based composition of the lotions, I wasn't exfoliating enough. I began to use an exfoliating towel meant for the body on my face almost every night. This seemed only to make it worse. Eventually, in May I had electrolysis to remove the millea, but there were so many (especially on my cheeks and neck) that she could only remove about 60% as they were so deep in my skin. I immediately stopped using the products, contacted customer support and received a full refund of my last order - hence my initial positive review.
It is now August and my skin is still so bad. There are still millea deep in my cheek and neck skin and every day there are new spots erupting as it all moves up through my skin. My skin is itchy and tender where there is so much congestion.
I got married in July and my skin texture was so bumpy through my makeup and there were visible big, red spots on my neck in all my photos and videos - something I'll never forgive myself for.
This has significantly negatively affected my confidence and self-esteem, even with my spouse. This is going to take much more time and financial investment to get my skin back to how it was before I used these products.
These products may work for some but if you have even remotely sensitive skin I encourage extreme caution!!!!
My initial review: "Really great customer service. Always super fast and effective response time. I enjoyed the in-built ai chat which helped me with general queries."
Response from Froya OrganicsMay 21, 2026
Thank you Amber!! Fast and effective is what we aim for every time. So happy the AI chat helped on the smaller stuff too, that's exactly why we built it in.
All the best,

Terrible product
Terrible product. Stains face and clothes orange, gritty and greasy. No difference to skin. Too heavy to wear. Avoid! It’s just over marketing.
Response from Froya OrganicsMay 19, 2026
Hi Lisa, we’re sorry to hear the product wasn’t the right fit for you. Skincare and cosmetic preferences can be very personal, and different skin types may experience textures and finishes differently.
Our formulas are carefully developed with nourishing ingredients and are loved by many customers for their rich, protective feel, though we understand that not every product will suit every individual preference.
If you’re open to it, please feel free to contact us at [email protected], we’d be happy to help you get the best possible use from the product and assist further however we can.

DONT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS COMPANY; As a beauty blogger and product tester…
GETTING OUT OF A FROYA SUBSCRIPTION IS HARDER THAN EXTRICATING YOURSELF FROM AN ESCAPE ROOM SET UP BY DERREN BROWN- IF YOU ARE NOT EXTERTIONATATELY WEALTHY, OR FOR SOME REASON ENJOY WASTING MONEY WHEN WE ARE IN A GLOBAL RECESSION TO THE POINT THAT YOU DONT CARE WHAT COMES IN AND OUT OF YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS THEN WARNING DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!As a beauty blogger and product tester I was excited to test drive the 'Anti Age and Insane Glow' balm. The product itself is actually Ok; it hasn't caused any allergic reactions and does have a nice albeit temporary effect but when I consulted with my regular beauty therapist in London she said that there was no actual tangible difference in the quality of my skin after 60 days, compared to other non invasive treatments I have used regularly such as Rise and Glow beauty collagen tonic by Hunter & Gatherer, and Hifu which I had done at Ninski in Crystal Palace, LONDON- it pulses waves into your skin that stimulates collagen and blood supply to the skin and had a very undeniable and visible effect which I seen thanks to before and after photos taken by the salon.
Froya's 'Anti age and insane glow' balm is more like a quite good primer or base layer for make up (I use tinted moisturiser with sun protection if I am going out) than an actual treatment that has any anti ageing effects, as if you use it on a freshly washed face it does provide a good base (although VERY orange until you really blend it in), but you only need a very, very small amount. Now despite already having one jar with 1/3rd left, one unopened and another already being shipped from Poland. This is despite me trying to cancel the subscription by emailing directly to customer service. I have consequently been charged over £60 as I tried to cancel after I received the first jar and realised I didn't need any more and that the product was overpriced. Also it is heavily marketed from the name Froya to the excessive emails implying it is a small business based on old family 'recipes' as a 'Nordic' product made from 'Arctic' plant ingredients; however it clearly states on the jar that it is made in Poland and I have since found out from my research that it is made in a large factory. I heard the origin story about the man who started it who had really tricky skin conditions but it took me a while to find that out- I would much rather have an authentic origin story man or woman than the weird, misleading and frankly disturbingly lacking in diversity marketing campaign - I am from London, UK and all the AI generated images in the marketing and the 'poems' are very much geared towards people with extremely pale skin white as a piece of paper or actually slightly grey. So the marketing is misleading/untruthful. I personally would have much preferred honesty and maybe they could have recruited some young polish person to be involved with the marketing and design- I follow loads on various apps that have incredible talent and a very cool aesthetic. Also I have looked into their programme where you can become an affiliate/ambassador by selling their products and it sounds very similar to a pyramid scheme- however I would need to do further research to confirm this. I have attached two photos, one which shows the excess of product that I have, the 'jade' (plastic) roller that broke the day after it arrived and the jar that shows it is made in POLAND, nowhere near a Nordic country or the Arctic. I have raised a VISA dispute with my bank so I will at least get the last payment refunded and further payments blocked, however this has been very inconvenient for me to have to deal with- the company should have acknowledged and actioned my initial cancellation request. I have given them all the information required to make the refund but I am confident it will take my bank taking action to recoup some of the money that has been effectively scammed from my account. I also recommend that they change their marketing strategy as it is not appealing, 'Freya' the lady in the photos is perfectly nice looking and I don't want to be rude but I do not aspire to that aesthetic. It's such an old fashioned western standard of beauty for older women; white hair, blue eyes, rosy cheeks, no wrinkles'. I would be far more interested to hear and see the original creator and how the products improved his life and skin, or at least use some more diverse models, some from other ethnicities, especially as your target demographic is the USA, UK and Europe, where we celebrate multiculturalism and really don't want to end up all being pale skinned, white haired, everything white! I'm Caucasian but my husband is from Jordan and my gorgeous daughter has stunning light caramel coloured skin. Its sad to see such a lack of diversity is my final note
UPDATE: Unsurprisingly, I received no money back so VISA dispute is my only recourse.

Hi Amy,
We’re sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience.
We would like to clarify that Frøya Organics works with different manufacturing and distribution facilities in order to serve customers worldwide efficiently. This is why some products may indicate different manufacturing locations on the packaging. All products are produced according to strict cosmetic safety and quality standards.
Our brand is inspired by Nordic skincare philosophies and ingredients, but we do not claim that every product is physically manufactured in a Nordic country.
Regarding the tinted moisturiser, only a very small amount is needed per application, as the formula is designed to provide a glowing finish. We understand that skincare preferences and results can vary from person to person.
We also apologise for the inconvenience caused regarding your subscription cancellation and refund process. Our team will contact you directly to review your case further and assist you properly.
Kind regards,
CS Manager
