She’s not crazy about the beef. But loves the chicken and the chicken and turkey

For the first time in five years he gets excited at meal time. I bought him a slo-mo food bowl to stop him from gulping it down

He really likes the food but it seems to make him very thirsty
Response from FreshpetAug 28, 2026
Hi Julie, thank you for sharing your feedback with us and that your pup enjoys our recipes. Most dogs are able to meet their hydration requirements from Freshpet alone, so we're sorry to hear that it seems to be making him more thirsty. We recommend consulting your veterinarian, as they'd know your pup's health history best. Please feel free to let us know if you need any additional assistance. We're here to help.

He likes the food for now. In a few weeks he'll refuse it and want something else. Aaannd then we start back up. He's been this way for 16 years. Just wants occasional variety. 🙄🥰🤣

I love the convenience and easiness to deliver the food, however, I have to delete the recipes that comes in big pieces as I have to spend time cutting it up! The recipes with the small bites are great and they like most of it.

Josie is enjoying her Freshpet shredded chicken. She's not really fond of the chicken, beef and lamb mix. Overall, she is doing well with the food but would rather eat whatever we're eating. Typical spoiled pet.
