FreeTaxUSAReviews of freetaxusa.com

This was my first time using software to file my own return and I was terrified at first, especially because I am a senior and not so tech savvy. As it turned out, Free Tax was much easier to use than I imagined and I was able to file my returns electronically. What a pleasant surprise! I highly recommend Free Tax even if it's your first time. PS- the real problem is that the Govt. makes is so difficult to file income tax even if you make very little money.

Worked great. Very intuitive. Will definitely use this online program for next years taxes.

Easy. User friendly.

Was able to handle my tax situation for a bargain. I have mortgage interest, stock sales, dependents, w2 and 1099's. Was able to cruise things.

The customer support was very fast and comprehensive in checking and resolving an unusual issue despite me not being a current paying customer. That earns a 5/5.

Most tax services are the same, this included. The only reason I highly recommend FreeTaxUSA over other services is because of the pricing. I paid a total of $16.99 to complete both my Federal and State returns. The Federal return is actually FREE but, the State return costs money. There are additional add-ons that cost money but, they aren't necessary for completion and compared to the prices of other tax services, this system is easy-to-use and doesn't feel invasive. I've used them for a couple years now and plan to continue using them so long as the price remains low.

Worked great for me, even with more complicated taxes. I found the platform to be better than TurboTax. Incredible value as well!

Awesome! Super easy to use - took me just 45 min. Same service as TurboTax for 1/10th the cost and MUCH less expensive than an accountant. If all you have is W2s, go with FreeTaxUSA.
