We also have several products and services available that are completely optional in order to meet the needs of our customers, including state returns and amendments. We charge a small, flat fee to prepare your state return or amendment, but you can go through the software to see if it works for you before paying. There is never any obligation to purchase the additional products and services that are available. We recommend checking the federal and state status of "where's my refund" to see if the IRS or state made any adjustments. Is it possible that your friend or son had past payments due to the IRS or state, in which case that is taken before the deposit is sent to SBTPG. Hi! We're so glad you found our software easy to use. The printed copy will take about 3-4 weeks after the return has been finalized to be printed and mailed to you. If you have not received it after that time, our support agents would be happy to look into it. We offer customer support free of charge through direct messages within your account and most customers will receive an answer within just a few hours. If you have not heard back from our support team, we would like to look into this more. We have sent you a request for more information. UPDATE: Thank you for providing that information. We try to support the most in demand tax forms, I am very sorry that Form IL-2210 has not fallen into this category in past years. As demand rises we support more and more forms each year-please keep checking with us in future seasons! I will also add the request for supporting this form to our developers so they can track the demand this upcoming tax season.

Hello! Please accept my apologies for the experience you had. We strive to provide excellent support for all of our customers, and we fell short this time by not explaining the multiple ways that you can add Pro Support to your account. There is an option to add Pro Support without going through all of the screens in your account. When you go to the Support Center in your account, there you can select the "Get Pro Support upgrade" option. We would like to address this with our agents. Hello Jo Ke, I am very sorry for your rough experience. Since we charge a preparation fee for our state returns, we do require payment before seeing the prepared return. However, we do give an opportunity for you to fully review your prepared forms and make adjustments before they are submitted. I apologize that you missed this opportunity. Please reach out to our customer support agents in the support center in your account so that they can direct you to the correct screens for your deductions when you start your amended return.
