I used Turbo Tax for many years but because of the increase in fees I tried FreeTaxUSA 8 years ago. GREAT decision! I've never had any problems with filing and my husband is self employed so taxes can sometimes be tricky. No problem with FTUSA. VERY easy to follow; both federal and state get done at the same time and it's a nominal fee for state filing. I highly recommend!

Easy to understand with helpful prompts (?) and support for a small fee if needed. It took me 3 hours to file though I had a number of 1099s - self employed.

I normally have used T-Tax for years. Due to price increases I bought HR Block due to it being cheap. Big mistake, Would import almost nothing, and would not work for Wealth Front. I manually imported the summary, and imported all other needed forms. And less then $15 to file the state return. Easy peasy! I will definitely use next year! TY

This company makes tax time so less stressful. Website is easy to use and walks you through every step to make sure you get every cent back you deserve. Filed with them multiple years and never once had a issue!

I love FreeTaxUSA! It's very easy to use and they let you know the same day if it's been rejected or not. This is my favorite free tax service! Also, to do a state return they charge a small fee that can be subtracted directly from the return, so no money out of pocket! Yay!
