I’m getting increasingly frustrated with the Libre 3 and unless it’s updated I really wouldn’t recommend it. Pros: Size compared to libre2 Application easy Customer Service from abbot Ireland excellent, no quibble replacements. Cons: Shockingly inaccurate continuously The amount of low alarms that my son has received in the last 2 months since changing over is awful but the real blood glucose levels are always far higher (hands always washed etc) Regularly telling me his glucose is in the 2s but in reality it could be in the 5s or even 6s occasionally. I haven’t slept properly in months due to monitoring false hypos! Getting very tired and frustrated at this stage. Edit to update: this morning at 1am the low alarm rang showing 2.8, his real bloods are 13.5 I retested 3 times on clean hands because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Absolutely shocking!!!

Libre 3 Plus. For the last four sensors, the system has ceased to function after 10 days. Abbot replaced one of them. Rough guess is that the battery in the sensor fails after about ten days, the sensor then ceases to talk to the phone and I get a "signal loss" error that does not clear. This is a systemic failure of some sort. They sensors quit before the advertised length of operational time.

The unit cannot be calibrated. My CGM and finger stick readings, especially while fasting, were way off (greater than 20%). I cannot rely on it.

I am new to all of this. I received a free trial and actually found it interesting and helpful. I would probably carry on with this system, but the cost is much too high.£100 per month is much too much. I understand that a new system is going to be put in place, but, I believe, the cost has not been studied in any detail. Diabetic sufferers are really a captive audience and the company needs to review their prices

Seit 2 Jahren benutze ich Free Style Libre 3 …jetzt aber nicht mehr…solange sie Funktionieren ist es ja gut wenn man seine Werte unter Kontrolle hat…aber immer wieder Störungen in Form von Alarmen ,meistens Nachts „“unterzuckerung“bei Überprüfung durch blutige Messung (Fingerstechen)stellte sich heraus das es Fehlalarm war..und das dann jede Nacht ,bis ich die Alarmfunktion deaktiviert habe…bei weiteren Störungen kam dann bei jedem reklamieren der Schock…ich weiss nicht ,aus welcher Zeit die Schulung der Mitarbeiter bei Abbott stattfindet…es ist ekelhaft was beim reklamieren auf einen zukommt..Aufdringlich und Unverschämt sind die immer wieder wiederholten Fragen von den Mitarbeitern..Danke nein …da kann ich gerne drauf verzichten…die sollten sich Schämen und dieses Management feuern die diesen Vorgang Schulen…Ich habe meine Kasse veranlasst den Jahresvertrag aufzulösen,das empfehle ich anderen auch ,die gleiche Erfahrungen machen werden

I am using Freestyle libre 2 ..I had a low blood sugar incident at 330 am.. The alarm woke me up..thank god..i took glucose .then the sensor stopped working said try again in 10 minutes I kept trying every 10 minutes for about 40 minutes..then I replaced the sensor. And it would not start.. now i am in low blood sugar event and aside from being scared , amazed and confused at 445 am ..I then reinstall the app and installed another sensor ..it worked..This device is not reliable called customer support ,they are open only office hours..called back after they open and Was told it was my fault ,and they would only replace one sensor as I should have called them.The fact that they were not open never entered into the mind of the customer service agent.. I used dexcom before had problems but they are open 24 hours a day to help..I switched to this app because one sensor is supposed to last 2 weeks..they have many problems with their application software and the sensors..The sensors and customer care is awfull. I am switching back to dexcom it's cheaper and works better with better customer service.. Such a disappointment freestyle in every aspect .reliability. function and customer care is awfull.. the agent was talking down to me ..I asked the condescending agent to speak with a supervisor and was told they would call within 24 hours.. I buy these things because I am type one diabetic .low blood sugar is very dangerous and the help i got was beyond cold and no understanding or compassion at all..the agent had only one focos to not replace faulty sensor and told me matter of factly i should wait 2 hours to see if the sensor starts to work again..I'm in a low blood sugar event.diabetic coma or worse is next .no understanding of what a diabetic goes thru . Make your system work why would I put myself thru that ..interrogation process rather than empathy i was shown blame game ..what a joke for a serious malfunction So take care with this company..

I have used Freestyle Libre 2 for many years now and overall I find it a good product BUT last night, my mobile alarm started bleeping 'every 2 minutes'. Meaning a sleepless night for me and my partner. Too afraid to turn it down, in case of hypos. Today, I rang customer services 4 times 'I was cut off twice, their end'. Their customer service team are a disgrace. I was given a case number to quote and when I did, was quoted the wrong details, than what I previously told them. This is people's lives that they are dealing with. I still need to call them again but expect to be cut off again (after a long wait). SERIOUSLY NOT HAPPY WITH THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.
