The sensor is not very good, and rarely works. Usually says try again in 10 minutes. Also, when you call they are very unhelpful, and quite nasty. Switched to a Dexcon and the people who answer the phone at that company are lovely.

Have been using Libre 3 for a while
Have been using Libre 3 for a while
At earlier months the sensor was good and accurate performing. However, recently it has been down hill.
As others reported the sensor became not reliable, not accurate, disconnected or loses signal….
It gotten worse, quality assurance is absent.
My recent sensor for two days keep alarming for high glucose 250-350
I used some insulin, nothing changed??!!
Wtf I went and bought the test strips, sure enough the true value was 110!!!
I called Abbott and reported it
I learned that others reported similar PROBLEMS.
Have I continued using more insulin to help the sensor super high reading I would have ended in the hospital or worse. I hope this post will help others to be aware and careful.
Abbott needs to fix the QA problem recently it has been lacking, they should issue SAFETY advisory before it kills someone.

Devices continuously have at least a 50…
Devices continuously have at least a 50 % failure rate at best A horrible inconvenient, unreliable waste of time effort and energy despite them trying to keep all quiet by free replacement la that eventually stop authorizing. I encourage users to contact the FDA

Nøj det træls at man skal købe af andre når ikke man har bevilling, og de så ikke engang kan køre i 14 dage. Abbot frasiger sig ethvert ansvar selvom de jo kommer fra dem.

Absolutely useless. Waste of serious money.
Absolutely useless. You cannot trust it at all. The variance between sensors is enormous - almost 2 full points. They cost a fortune - more than most diabetes medications, and they are inaccurate and so, unreliable. What’s the point? Who cares if they are smaller than before?
Serious pharmacies should pull them off the shelf.

Totally incompetent
Totally incompetent, essentially. I know most people only write reviews when they’ve had a bad experience, but in this case, it happened on multiple occasions.
Their customer service is like many others these days — outsourced at-home representatives who know very little about the company and can only copy and paste scripted responses, whether through chat or over the phone.
In the end, their products continue to error out, and the replacement service is so inconsistent and delayed that it’s honestly surprising they’re still in business.

40% FAILURE RATE
I have been using Libre Freestyle for years, and with each successive generation, the quality has diminished. 4 of my last 10 Libre Freestyle 3+ sensors have failed prematurely. Each time giving erroneous low readings that are up to 100 points off! That’s a 40% failure rate!

Gaslighting and Hypocrisy
On the second day of the Freestyle Libre 2 sensor, it fell off. The new sensor was applied, but the Libby reader, which had been purchased at the same time, failed to read the new one. Luckily, I was able to use the phone app. According to their website, this is a common problem and they would replace it.
When I called, Ann gave me the run around for 15 min, not listening to anything and insisting the reader was fine. I was transfered to a manager and he proceeded to tell me that they couldn't support the reader because it was being used on a dog. Even though he (Christopher) admitted that the reader couldn't differentiate who the sensor was attached to, it just accesses the system. That while I could also not read my father's sensor, they "already knew I had used the reader on a dog," like that had contaminated the reader and would not help me. The absolutely ludicrous hypocrisy of saying that the reader could be included in the refusal of support, is like saying that if you used an unapproved channel, the TV company doesnt have to support your remote even if there is a recall on it. They will happily take your money, but will find any excuse, no matter how stupid, to refuse to support their flawed product.
