Second time is even better! RANGER! FREESKY RANGER Hi Folks, I'm still no expert, but based on my Ranger and my Alaska Pro, FREESKY COMPANY MAKES A GREAT E-BIKE. Retelling my story: The E Bike industry is huge. So many companies, so many importers branding a foreign made E Bike with their own name. So many parts, batteries, motors, on and on. So when I decided I wanted a EBike, what I did was focus on my requirements. I wanted a rugged EBike capable of handling the terrain of Northern Maine. Not super-rough trails but definitely off-road. I wanted a strong Peddle Assist (PA) motor capability but not two motors. I wanted superior long range between charges. I also wanted it to be able to pull a specific single tire trailer | own. I fish a lot. I knew if I went with a big seller like Amazon, Cabela's, or Walmart, l'd have guaranteed problems solving and customer service to help. I'd also have warrantee and refund options. Many folks say. "buy at a local shop who sells it, they will know it, and back it up." I disagree. They are on a tighter supply chain financing scheme and they will go to the manufacturer anyway. I also saw that the average EBike costs $3300.00 Like the Alaska Pro, I found FREESKY being sold by Walmart and Amazon, as well as its own website and a few other retailers. Why I bought a FREESKY RANGER I recently bought an Alaska Pro, also fantastic. It made me decide to get a second bike for other applications. Ranger has Great reviews. Ranger has Great looks. Really comfortable. Really rugged. Stable. Great range. Like my Alaska Pro, Freesky had my new Ranger in the mail that day and it arrived early. Like 4 days across the USA. Free shipping. How’s that for service? Two boxes. I followed the directions and was assembled in an hour. Charged up the battery while in the frame. It's easy to remove it as well Start up on monitor is super easy. Very user friendly. once I pedaled, I never went higher than Pedal Assist 1. Why? Because it would fly. I would routinely hit 20 mph on flat. Sometimes I pedal out of guilt. But I rely don't need to. I went 8 miles the first ride. I didn't notice any battery use on the meter. It's fantastic. I was shoulder sore the next day but that's a in shape issue. This is an EBike you must drive. By that I mean, it's not a lightweight toy. Like the Alaska Pro I have, I can see it getting away from you if you don't ride it within FreeSky recommendations or you get complacent because it's so effortless and comfortable. Two things for me. I'm 6' tall and 208. 65 years old. So it takes a bit to mount over that top battery bar. So hitch up your pants and make sure you keep in shape and stretch so you can clear the bar. I tilt it about 15 degrees and step over and I'm on. Don't exceed your capabilities or you'll be letting this bike get ahead of you. It’s definitely not a toy. Also, careful on narrow ruts. You are not going to control it, it's going to eat the ruts with those fat tires and maybe off-angle you or pitch and you'll have your feet down and probably foot to lay it down. Just take it easy. It will be an amazing ride very time. It will be taking me camping soon. I'm confident in the quality and construction. The more the derailed and batteries are all common, so serving isn't a worry. Also, careful on narrow ruts. You are not going to control it, it's going to eat the ruts with those fat tires and maybe off-angle you or pitch and you'll have your feet down and probably lay it down. Just take it easy. It will be an amazing ride very time. A big word about FREESKY Customer service: I've sent several questions just because I wanted information. FREESKY Representatives will answer within 24 hours. EVERY TIME. I had a small part issue because of something I damaged and immediately resolved it without hesitation. That’s big in my book. Some folks like to say stay local for purchases, maintenance, and customer service at a bike shop that knows you. Well, I also know that that’s a lot more expensive and I’ve been well taken care of by the Freesky team. If your needs are similar to mine, then I am telling that this EBike is the first rate choice. Bottom line is that I really enjoy my Ranger. What a great addition to my Alaska Pro. If your needs are similar to mine, then I am telling that my Ranger EBike is a first rate choice. I recieved my swifthorse about a month ago. There isn't one complaint I have. The customer service and communication is top notch!!!

the bike itself seems to be just what i wanted and the price was fair. i had one problem and that was with the charger not working. in the beginning i fealt like i had to jump thru hoops to get some service, but in the end they send me a new charger and all is good

Freesky Cycle has always been responsive and helpful. My most recent interaction was based on my not understanding how to accomplish an unlocking with the tags vs the code. They were patient and explained everything I needed, including a video. I recommend Freesky Cycle wholeheartedly

Purchased two freesky e-bikes one Rocky Pro A-320 and a Eurostar Turbo M-410, these bike are made to last great build quality an solidly made. The 4" tyres are great for the beaches and muddy and gravel bike paths. Customer service is spot on they know what they are on about and are quick to reply. The 5 stared review is deserved

Don’t know what was wrong with my review, got removed without explanation. But here’s another try. Got this bike for my wife and she has loved it since we got it. We have had it about 5 months and had our first issue. The rear brake/signal light would not stop flashing even when turned off. Customer service person Kenny help me pin down the issue to a malfunction controler. They shipped me a replacement which came very quick. The part was easy to replace, all plug and play took about 5 mins to replace and the bike was up and running like the day we go it. Amazing company from telling us how to change the mph to kmh to getting the bike fixed Without any problems. Always kind and helpful in the emails, a very stand up company.
