Fountain pens can be complicated things at times. FPR is always willing to answer questions and provide help. Ordering from their website is easy, shipping is quick, packaging is good. Payments have never been a problem. It's the personal touch by the owner that makes them stand out.

I really like the FPR feeds/nibs they are a great value but it seems there is marginal variations in the sizings of these products. It's not much, a decimal point or two here or there but unfortunately it's enough to sometimes make some combinations of feeds and nibs not fit snugly in the section of the pens that these are designed to fit in. Aside from that getting a better flex experience out of the box really isn't possible without these nibs and feeds, especially for this price point. If the tolerances could be a little more controlled it would be perfect. I was able to use 3 of the 5 feeds I recently purchased, the others fit but were too loose. This either provided a flow that was way way too wet or simply caused the feed to shift over time with the need to be straightened again and again. The others fit with good friction and requiring slight force, but stayed in place and allowed for a consistent fit/flow.

Fountain Pen Revolution is the Whataburger of fountain pens . . . superb, really. Great value, great quality, and great service. They don't come with melted American cheese in them, but these pens would probably still write well if they did. I ordered two all the way -- with broad nibs, in other words. Highly recommended and maybe the only reason to visit Plano, Texas. Just kidding. There's the Frito-Lay headquarters. How cool is that?
