Easy painless productive
61yo experiencing low libido, poor sleep, just generally lethargic. Even though im a retired 32yr fireman experienced in starting iv's, and IM/SQ injections, i could never "puncture" myself to save my life. I always had to get a coworker or SO to stick me. So i was leery about injecting both subQ and especially through such a small needle. But, i decided to suck it up and try. Man was i excited when i injected myself for the first time. Painless pretty much. 0.5 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being worst pain. The draw of the testosterone into the syringe via the 27g "diabetic" needle is certainly slower because its oil based and thicker than meds i was used to. The whole process of selecting a syringe, wiping the bottle with an alcohol swab, inserting the needle, drawing the proper dose down, removing the needle/syringe, selecting the appropriate site, inserting the needle into the skin and slowly injecting the med actually took about 2 minutes. Easy peasy. The results took a few weeks to notice. Wife was very impressed. No more wondering if "shorty" was going to show up and stick around. Libido was great. Wife was like, omg can you please keep your hands to yourself! Honestly, i couldn't. And honestly this was what i wanted. Prior to all this i had zero interest. Show me a naked wife or woman and be like, yep shes naked. I was frustrated, wondering if my sex life was suddenly over. Testing: blood draws are done at a convenient lab location, day and time that i select. Quick and easy. Follow ups to go over labwork are also convenient. You speak with a doctor usually via video. Based on your labs and how youre feeling, youre given a "tweak" plan if youre to high on this or too low on that. Todays meeting was maybe 10 minutes? Overall im very impressed and pleased with the whole process. Btw i failed to mention that everything you need (supplies wise) is shipped to you. All I needed to have was a sharps container of some sort for my used syringe/needle. This cant get easier
