Didn’t Live Up to Expectations
I had been considering signing up for FoundersCard for a while, and when I received an offer through my Amex card, I decided to give it a try. I thought it would be a great opportunity to test the program and see if it was something worth keeping. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Nearly every benefit I attempted to use required upgrading to their Elite status, which was disappointing. I also reached out regarding a few perks—mainly golf-related—but found customer service to be unhelpful and slow to respond. What stood out the most is that I’ve received countless promotional emails encouraging me to join, yet when I actually needed assistance, the support just wasn’t there. It felt more like they were focused on getting the signup rather than providing real value afterward. I travel a lot and, in theory, this should have been a great fit for me—but it simply didn’t deliver.

While premium benefits do require an Elite upgrade, your trial membership provides access to half of the benefits in our portfolio, so there are still plenty of perks to enjoy. I had a great experience booking hotel…
I had a great experience booking hotel and getting some answers as well very promptly from your team! There are times when customer service with other groups that does not get back to questions on a timely manner and I feel you went above and beyond and answered my questions at ease. Justifies its Name.. Best Card for Founders!
I’ve got ELITE Card. If you are someone who genuinely travels and are into business. For $995, this has to be the best Card out there for international founders! I would be more happy if they had more offers in Asia. I would be happy to make it long term if they do add some stuff as Airline programs in Asia instead of just America.
