Scam company. Post FLL jobs that aren’t available on job hiring websites in order to acquire email information and website traffic. Spent hours applying to a ‘For Love and Lemons’ editorial job from reputable job board listings and the company wrote back a generic email claiming they never posted it. (This is unethical). Fraudulent practices to get more web views and new buyers. Will never shop at For Love and Lemons and will encourage friends/family not to shop here. They post 'non-existent' jobs to lure customers and generate interest in the company. Extremely deceitful.

They issued my refund faster than their normal timeline but that's the only good thing in this experience. Sizing is off : the dress in small was impossible to put on, the dress in medium was gigantic. Their size chart is off too by the way. But the worst part is they don't refund the total amount paid (even when they promise they will because you placed 2 orders in a 10 days timeline to get your hand on the product before it runs out of stock). I got 600$ out of my pocket and none of the dresses fit (mind you I don't have atypical measurements, every other brand on earth fits me in size small). Exchanges are not an option (btw I live in France so it's even more complicated to reorder) even when they sell products in a size that doesn't match their size chart. This will be the last time I order on their website.

Well, I’ve always enjoyed their designs in the past. I feel like they’ve become quite cheap looking. Not to mention, regardless what you think, clothing companies that mainly use polyester or other toxic man-made materials are definitely not “luxury” I went to purchase something last night, a pair of high waisted knickers for 35.00 at final sale. Upon checking out it was almost 60.00 after shipping, “package protection” and tax. Thats insane. I have quite a few dresses and lingerie…. only one item is actually cotton… knickers.🙄

I’ve been hearing about this brand forever and I’ve always loved their designs. My birthday is in one month and I was looking for a special dress. I happened to find the perfect one on their website and it was at the final sale cost — thus with a good discount. I would’ve never spent 200/300$ on a dress online, so I was happy to pay it around 70$ (the original price was around 250$). I received the order in just one week which is crazy if we think that I live in Europe. I was therefore satisfied with the service but pretty much disappointed with the package and quality. The dress came folded when I thought it would have had a proper box at least. It only had a plastic bag instead, and I was surprised since the dress was supposed to be delicate and I would’ve have expected it to have a proper package considering the price as well, and the aesthetic of the brand. I would have also expected a cute card inside the package but it was the most basic standard package ever, which is fine, this is not that important, just an observation. But the real problem in my opinion is the quality. My dress was full of creases and maybe even because of that, but the fabric seemed very cheap at first sight. Even by touching the dress and touching the lace fabric, you can easily understand that it is not well made. I saw that they are made in China, so basically it is exactly like buying on Shein or websites like that. I will keep the dress because I like it and I like the style, but to say that it doesn’t seem cheap (as it probably is) it would be a lie. I’m just disappointed because prices should be reflected by quality. Putting those prices won’t help you selling more — it’ll help you lose costumers since I’m not buying there anymore for sure. I know places where I can spend the same amount in exchange of something really well made and of good quality.

I wanted to buy something from this brand since the moment I first saw it. All their stuff looked SO beautiful almost European and their prices definitely implied high quality. I bought a matching set from them of lingerie and I swear to god it’s the cheapest, most ill-fitting garbage I’ve ever purchased. It seriously MUST have cost like $2 to make I’ve bought things from VS and Lovers that felt way more luxurious and was so much better quality than this. Never been so disappointed and shocked in a brand in my life and I’m NOT a picky consumer. Even if it was uncomfortable and looked really high end and pretty I’d be happy but this place has the worst false advertising I’ve ever experienced the set didn’t even look like the photos. Buying from this place is akin to buying off SHEIN but at least with SHEIN they price accordingly for their quality and you know you’re not going to get what’s in the photo exactly. I’ll never buy from them again and when I see their prices I’m very annoyed that they make themselves look so high end and beautiful when the reality is it’s cheap and awful PLEASE go to Victoria’s Secret or honestly anywhere else but here.

The price of the clothing does not match quality. Decided to order first time from them. Spent around 150! For a short blue dress. The quality and material disappointed me. You could mistake it for a slip nightgown/negligee. Felt cheap and that’s because it is. 100 percent polyester I realized. The straps were made of fragile elastic and not very nicely secured feeling to the dress. Feels like they won’t hold up. The dress looks ok on but certainly was unpleasantly surprised by the quality. I won’t be wearing it very much due to it being so fragile and lightweight it doesn’t fit as advertised. (Skirts so lightweight and unlined , there’s not enough weight to the skirt part to make it sit like the picture advertised did. Bust has no boning and also so thin material that the cups fold over, so I have to keep adjusting it to grip my chest right ) When I spend 150 on one simple dress I expect it to not feel like it’s from SHEIN. Hell next time I will go to SHEIN first because it’s about the same gamble of quality and fit for a more fair price. The only thing flal has going for them is that the clothes are made in USA. So congratulations woo hoo now stop ripping everyone off. Eyed this brand for a while before buying. I now have confirmed my original concerns. Not worth the higher price this company asks for when they clearly have no pride in the quality of their items.

Bought a sweatshirt - not worth $100. Thin material, some seams are ripped. This sweatshirt probably cost $5 to make, I like the sweatshirt but it's not worth the insane mark up.

Sizing is horribly inconsistent. Getting something final sale? Good luck finding your right size.
