Delivery delayed an entire day and food flavor is bland.

The first two times I ordered a few months ago, the plant based options were pretty tasty! I liked them. Even my non-veg partner enjoyed them or at least he said they were not bad. I do recall the deliveries were delayed on one instance. I had called customer service and no answer and lo and behold I got a call back. It was offshores customer service but I was glad to be talking to a person. It all seemed a bit odd to me at the time though. It shows a local number but then you’re talking to someone outsourced. Recently I tried to reorder as there was a sale and I never received my order even after submitting service tickets on their website multiple times, calling multiple times and was given the run around, told, they’re checking into it. I wasn’t given an answer of when the food would arrive; it was suppose to arrive on a Sunday and it was 8pm and it still hadn’t arrived and didn’t get a call back and couldn’t reach anyone again. I get up early the next day and I work during the week so wouldn’t be home for them to come Monday and it’s super hot out therefore needed it Sunday night. I finally asked for a refund and was told it would be 7-14 business days; I read through their policy about no refunds and filed a dispute with my credit card just in case I never receive the refund, it sounded a little sketchy. All in all, they need to get it together and improve their business- offer tracking for when the food will arrive and figure out a way to reach a person who knows what’s going on and won’t hem and haw on the phone. It’s not the customer service agents fault who are far far away but the people running it. Who is running the business? Sadly the reviews seem to be true.

Got my one and only delivery today. It was lunchtime, so I opened one of the unmarked meals (in black plastic) with anticipation. Boy was I disappointed, it was awful. Chicken was tough, spaghetti squash was tasteless, even after I put olive oil and pesto on it. Very sad. I gave it two stars because customer service was very helpful when I canceled, let's see if the cancelation actually happens. I'm afraid to open the rest of the meals, I think I'll have some back-up food ready. I sort of expected this, but I had high hopes. Sorry, Forkful.

Food was decent. Delivery was ridiculous (delivered at midnight. Luckily I happened to be awake and checked my email and saw it was delivered so it didn’t sit outside all night in 80 degrees). Customer service is laughable. Barely responsive and when they do respond, it’s short and unhelpful.

Two stars because the food is pretty good, but the service is NOT. Three deliveries and they screwed up two of them. You get an answer on a support ticket two days too late, and the next person to touch it has no idea what the last person said. You can see the theme in these reviews - real shame these companies can cook but can’t run a business. We canceled on week four, moving on.

As our food options are very specific, Forkful Meals has offered a variety of meals that cater to our restrictions, such as no seed oils and gluten free for example. No other delivery meal products offer this. We’ve been fine with the different meals, but the customer service end leaves MUCH to be desired. Their app is NOT user friendly. For example, when trying to pick meals Our subscription is for 12 meals per week. If you mistakenly enter any amount over the allotted package, you’re automatically charged for the extra meal(s) - even if you’ve deleted the extra meal(s) it won’t correct to NO extra meals. This week I was choosing our meals for the following week’s delivery. I had 12 meals picked. My husband wanted to swap to a different meal, but unfortunately added the meal he wanted before deleting the meal he didn’t want. This made the app automatically charge my account for an extra meal. You cannot correct it on your side, their tech department has to correct it. Ridiculous. Long story shorter, I now have been charged for 4 extra meals and they’ve added a meal we can’t even consume as a twelfth meal. I tried calling their number five times. The billing dept hangs up on you. Customer Service doesn’t even answer. The only way I get through is trying their “sales” dept. They make notes and forward the problem to the billing and tech depts. Major problem with this. I have paused my current method of payment so they cannot charge me any more until they’ve credited my account for those four phantom meals they charged me for. Very frustrating. I do not recommend until they’ve credited fix their app and customer service.

First order was late. Didn’t let me edit my meals for the 2nd order an had to throw away half of them. Messaged customer service over a week ago and never heard anything back. First meal was really good. All other 7 were edible but not good. Stick to Factor if you are going to pay that price.

Forkful meals are a good value as they cost less than $10 per meal including shipping when ordering a 20 meal box. Also the ingredients lists on the meals is free from artificial additives and gmos. However, pausing weekly shipments is highly problematic. I wanted to order the 20 meal box once every 3 weeks. I called customer service and got them to just discontinue the shipments and they said to call them back to resume billing and shipping. That worked OK just once. But after I entered my selection of 20 meals I found that the website had inaccurately recorded my order history and there didn't seem to be a way to pause future billing and shipments. I tried calling customer service to straighten things out but only got a message that there was Noone available to take my call at noon on a weekday, so I left a message a couple of times asking for a call back but it's been a couple of days now with no response. So I ended up canceling the debit card that I had used to pay for the next shipment so that I wouldn't be billed anymore.
