Charged After Cancelling — Stay Away
I signed up for Forkful through a Venmo promotion offering 60% off, but was unable to see meal options or pricing until after entering my credit card information. Once signed up, I discovered that adding "premium items" to my cart was irreversible — there was no way to remove them, resulting in unexpected fees per meal. After realizing this, I cancelled my subscription immediately — 8 days before my first scheduled shipment. Despite this, Forkful charged my card and shipped the order anyway. When I contacted support, I was told that all charges are non-refundable, regardless of when you cancel. Essentially, if they process your charge more than 5 days before your next order, you're stuck paying for it no matter what. The combination of hidden pricing, a manipulative cart design, and a no-refund policy that ignores cancellations makes this one of the most deceptive subscription services I've encountered. Avoid.
