I used their oral minoxidil for about a year. It certainly worked, but also caused me to grow thicker hair all over my body. This is a known side effect, so I don’t fault them for that. However, what I can fault them for is their inability to send a reminder email when the next refill was about to be shipped. I had decided to probably cancel because of the side effects, but was not given an option to do so because my next shipment was sent without any kind of reminder or notification prior. That means $175 totally gone to waste. They would not allow me to return the item, even if I didn’t open it or open the box. All of my other subscription service services allow you to pause or delay shipments if you’re not ready for the next one. There is no reason why they can’t do it as well. I’m very disappointed in this process.

I joined Hers to address my thinning hair. It was not a pleasant experience. Because I didn't know any better, I chose the pill form. When I told my doctor I was taking it, she said " Stop taking that. If you take that in a pill, you're going to grow hair in places you don't want to... like your face, your back, your chest. If you want to use minoxidil only use the topical form". So I saw on the Hers site "TRY our topical". I thought that they were offering a sample because it certainly did NOT mention anything at all about charging me ANOTHER $175 on top of the $175 I had just paid, but that's what they did. I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 only because after I threw a fit and before they had shipped anything they did refund the second charge. However, when I told them my doctor had recommended the switch to topical, they refused to allow me to switch my 6 month subscription from the pill. I don't want a beard and mustache, so I canceled the subscription altogether. They kept my $175 and all I got was aggravation and a 30 day supply of pills that I can't use. Since then, I found that the same formula of topical minoxidil is available at any drugstore for a third of the cost that Hers charges. So my advice to you... Don't subscribe to anything Hers wants to sell you. Go to your drugstore and get the exact same product at a HUGE discount.

The app is horrible! I think you have no concern for health issues. The only motivation is optimizing profits while the meds are still expensive. Terrible program!

The medicine gave me flu like symptoms and I felt very ill. Had to take time off work.

Medicine is not working and not losing any weight

I never hear from you. There are no tips on side effects, did not check with me, charged my cc and sent more shits. Needles break easily. I will run out needles, contacted fur replacements and no answer. No tips on foods to help with side effects.

I'm not losing weight even though I have cut out gluten, sugar, alcohol and dairy.
