Tried Hers for weight loss and the medication provided was not effective. When you sign up they make it automatically refill and there is no communication that the refill is coming up. When I saw I was charged I immediately contacted their customer service and was told they could not “cancel” the order even though it had not yet shipped. The medication is very expensive so BE SURE to unsubscribe to the auto refill immediately if it’s not working for you.

I decided to investigate anti-anxiety medication from Hers. This was a huge mistake. The website is not forthcoming about pricing and charged my card before I could even get to the review page to understand the initial and subsequent subscription pricing. I left the website without authorizing anything so imagine my surprise when I received the confirmation email saying medication was on its way! I didn't sign up for anything! I immediately responded multiple times to the confirmation emails, all to no avail. I just kept getting the same answer which is "sorry you feel inconvenienced". Again, I did not authorize any charges yet they hit my credit card immediately upon putting in my card information, which was required prior to being able to see and review the charge(s) . I DID NOT CHECK OUT YET WAS CHARGED! I will be disputing the charge. BUYER BEWARE!

I had a very disappointing experience with Hers. They charged me for my subscription on May 31st, even though it was set to renew on June 9th. Additionally, I spoke with their doctor back in December, who advised that I stop taking the medication. Once I got in contact with them, they basically wiped the record clean on the app, so now it doesn't show when the renewal date was set to be. This situation has been frustrating and confusing, and I am very dissatisfied with how it was handled. I perceive them as a sneaky, underhanded company.

I was unable to tolerate the medication after one dose. It made me quite sick. I messaged the care team and received what seemed to be canned messages that did not respond to my direct feedback. The provider seemed to have no awareness that it was my very first dose, even though I said it in my message and they should have been able to see that in my account. I attempted to take it again, but could not tolerate it at all. I am now stuck with 6 months of medications that I cannot take. When I cancelled the subscription and completed the check in, I continued to get messages that were irrelevant to my situation. In retrospect it was a complete waste of money to purchase 6 months of medication at once without knowing how I would react to it. The provider interactions are generic at best and did not feel genuine or responsive. Updated: A representative from the company did reach out and is helping me.

I never got my order! It went back to the original sender. I also never received a response from customer service.

DO NOT USE HERS! Hers markets itself as "Healthcare that feels like self-care. Affordable prescription and non-Rx products at Hers. No waiting room. Just personal care from licensed providers you can trust, 100% online." However, the fine print, which is too easy to gloss over, reveals that you are paying to be prescribed medication whether you want it or not. My intention in signing up for Hers was to learn about weight loss medication and to possibly subscribe if I felt comfortable. I was willing to keep a credit card on file for this purpose. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what I expected. The dialogue was nonexistent; instead, a questionnaire served as their version of consulting a provider. Within a day, I was prescribed medicine that I cannot take, charged for it, and it was sent to me. They advise consulting your primary care doctor, but I had no time to do so. They claim that all ingredients are posted online, which they are, but how was I supposed to know what I would be prescribed without any real consultation? There was no opportunity to discuss my concerns with a doctor. The entire process with Hers has been disheartening, to say the least. They should be ashamed of not providing proper healthcare or guidance to those in need. This experience was atrocious, and for them to prey on individuals with mental health issues is a total scam. These are not real doctors; there is no space to question the medication they prescribe. They just prescribe and send it. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Hers advertise that they will adjust your medications based on first week check in. This is not true. I complained that the naltrexone made me extremely sleepy which I can't deal with being a full time employee. I was full of energy the days I didn't take this pill. But was told I still need to take it. I asked why if my appetite was suppressed with the metformin and bupropion. The only explanation was mimicking the info I found by googling these medication. They couldn't provide any additional information. Next they told me to take the naltrexone at night since it made me sleepy. Again, I have no desire to take meds that makes me sleepy in an unnatural way. And didn't understand why controlling appetite was needed before going falling asleep. I decided to cancel my subscription. There is no return nor refund on the 5 month med2 kit costing $360 or so. Lesson learn to stick with my primary care provider since I can actually speak to someone in person to discuss my concerns and not have to invest 5 months of a program in advance.

I don't know why they advertise for help with medications for certain issues when you won't even get approved. I went through such a long survey process just to get denied for basic mental health medications. Then they just refer to you to see a local provider in person when the whole point of their platform is to avoid that. Complete waste of time and honestly they don't seem very professional or knowledgeable. It's a money-grab. Kind of scammy.
