Deceptive Subscription Practices
I really wanted to like this company. I used them for weight loss with minimal results and not so good side effects. Which is fine everyone is different and had decided to move on after discussing options with their doctor. On their customer service page they ask for cancellation “at least 48 hours” before shipment date. My shipment date was November 27, 2024. They charged my account November 24, 2024. When I reached out to customer service my shipment date conveniently changed to November 24th and they can’t cancel or refund. I know the shipment date was November 27th because i have a sticky note on my desk and a calendar reminder. I was on top of this and they still got me. I would have cancelled sooner but I was in communication with my assigned doctor weighing options about my treatment as I was having side effects that were affecting my quality of life. I’m just so hurt that they have been so deceptive. I am not a liar. I know the app said the 27th for refill date. Now I’m stuck $297 worth of medications that I won’t take because the side effects outweigh the benefits. Please be clear about the cancellation policy. Don’t state at least. That implies that there is still a chance to cancel within 48 hours. Don’t lie about the shipment date just because you processed it early. Please give customers a pause option if they’re in communication with their doctors about treatment options. Please be a better company than this. If you’re looking to use hers go somewhere else. There’s lots of other options online. Don’t make the mistake I did.
