Super Super Unethical
One of the most unethical and predatory healthcare companies I’ve dealt with. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Hers and feel obligated to warn others. I knowingly signed up for a six-month semaglutide subscription, but what Hers does not make clear is that they will automatically ship and charge subsequent installments without any meaningful notice or opportunity to cancel. They mailed the second installment without warning, then charged my credit card over $1,400, again, with no email, no heads-up, no invoice, no chance to opt out. I only discovered the charge after it had already gone through. For a company positioning itself as a modern, patient-centered healthcare provider, this behavior is deeply unethical. Medication that expensive should never be shipped or charged without explicit confirmation. This is not transparency. It’s a trap. What’s most alarming is that this isn’t a small purchase or a forgotten subscription box. This is prescription medication costing thousands of dollars, handled with less care than a streaming service renewal. Hers relies on fine print, silent renewals, and surprise charges rather than informed consent. That alone should give anyone pause before trusting them with their health or their finances. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for weight-loss or prescription services. No one should be blindsided by a $1,400 charge for medication they didn’t explicitly approve at that moment. Proceed with extreme caution. They deserve to go out of business.
