I’m still losing a ton of hair. There’s growth, but still so much loss.

I have reservations about taking this medication and I've voiced those concerns. (Regarding the amount of initial shedding upon beginning the medication, and the length of time to expect the shedding). All I'm given in return is a link to read about the hair growth process. I feel this is cold and informal. I'm starting to think I should have gone straight to my doctor for my hair loss issue... at least I knew he was a real person not just sending me away with a link to a website to soothe my worries.

Not as much support as they claim
The app makes it sound like there will be way more support for the whole weight loss journey, but aside from a few videos to watch and the ability to log your weight and check off taking the meds it really does nothing else. They do not proactively check in with you and if you have any issues they tell you to visit your local doctor. Even after communicating that the doses were too much all I was told was to lower the amount I was taking and see my doctor, then when my subscription renewed they sent me the full doses again. It doesn’t make sense to send me the full amounts if I’m taking less than the full dosage each day. The only reason I’m still using Hers is because the meds are actually working and I’m losing weight. They need to be honest that they don’t actually support you that much.

Use them in a pinch but don’t expect Advice
While I was able to switch my anxiety meds with ease and quicker than I could get in to see my own doctor, the cut and paste responses from the people in the psychiatry section and lack of knowledge leaves a lot to be desired. I’m still not entirely convinced they’re not bots. My questions weren’t answered and the person replying would repeat a question I had already responded too. Response time is ok but not great when you’re waiting with bated breath for a reply. You’re lucky if you get the same person, which again, doubles up in the same questions and responses being asked and given. Oh and they’re constantly introducing themselves like it’s the first time they spoke to you. I started weight loss meds at the same time on hers, as I’ve put a lot of weight on while on my anxiety meds. The weight loss people suggested I tell my mental health people which I did I started the drugs, and their only response was “thanks for letting us know”. The following week, still not feeling any relief from my new medication, I filled in my check in survey and another person replied and asked if my lack of relief could be due to the weight loss meds. I said no as I’d only been on the new medication for 10 days after weaning off my other meds for 2 weeks so I knew it would take time. I had asked the weight loss people if the weight loss meds would interfere and they said no, so no one had an issue with me starting them. The following week the story had changed and I was being asked if I thought they were affecting my meds not kicking in. I was at a loss as no one had said I couldn’t start them. Everyone said it was ok. Then all of sudden it was a problem and I was being asked if I wanted to switch mental health meds (after only 10 days when I’m supposed to be on a 1/2 dose for 4 weeks!!!!) or if I wanted to continue with the weight loss meds.
No one was advising me. No one was answering any questions. I’ve had to make decisions myself and figure it all out with not much advice or help.
The weight loss people seem to be much more human like than the psychiatry people.
I’m going to get my new prescription filled through my own doctor once I get in to see her for my annual check up.
In all, for the price, I don’t think this is a worthwhile service.

Hopefully
Who wants a $400 water bottle
I had tried a weight loss medicine through my physician about 2 years ago. My husband is diabetic, so I’m morally opposed to soccer moms using ozempic and mounjaro when he legitimately needs drugs like that and often has trouble finding them in stock because of the weight loss craze. And I’m sensible, so I’m not going to shell out $400+/month for semaglutide. So my dr Rx’d Contrave, which worked wonderfully…until it didn’t. After losing 75 pounds, I plateaued and then gradually started gaining the weight back. It stopped ramping my metabolism, killing my cravings, and curbing my appetite. Over time, your body can build up a tolerance to the drugs in contrave and shun the benefits. Desperate, I saw ads for Hers and then did my research and due diligence, reading all the reviews and considering pros and cons. I reached out, completed a brief intake survey and was told my health history and personal profile and goals would be reviewed by a qualified professional (if not a md then a pa or np). In my history, I shared my whole experience with contrave and that it had stopped working. They assured me a cocktail of drugs would be formulated just for my specific needs. Their main drug is metformin and since I’m not a pharmacist, I didn’t realize what they were giving me was essentially the same ingredients as contrave, albeit for a bit less. You sign up for I believe a 5-month supply. That cost me $400. Less than Contrave (which I was getting for $100/month) and certainly less than semaglutide. A little package arrived on my doorstep with beautiful brochures of thin people, all the pill bottles, and what is maybe the best part, a darling water bottle. Because some of the ingredients are considered lack box drugs, you are instructed to titrate a couple of the pills, gradually increasing your dose over the first 4-5 weeks. My “cocktail” included 3 different pills. I followed the instructions to the letter. I drank my 2L of water daily. I walked during my lunch break and sometimes also in the morning before work. I tried to avoid junk food and the doughnuts in the break room. But the scale was not budging. I didn’t gain anything, but I also lost maybe a pound over my first 6 weeks. I reached out to the company (online of course, through the app) sharing my disappointment at my lack of progress. Finally, I received attention from one of the certified professionals you are assured are monitoring your journey and there is you ever need someone. Until then, I felt like I was just being answered by AI or a call center in India. This person did send a thoughtful, well written message but unfortunately, it wasn’t good news. They basically said “yeah, if you built up a tolerance to contrave, then this cocktail isn’t going to do squat for you so you should consider switching to semaglutide. We can hook you up with that if you’d like. For $400/month. :( So I’m out $400, back to square one, and have nothing to show for myself except a spiffy new water bottle.

I really don’t like how my hair feels…
I really don’t like how my hair feels when using this product. It is stiff and difficult to get a comb or brush through. I am using it exactly as directed. What an expensive disappointment.

They made outreach to try to fix issue. But I’m won’t be able to give a follow up until I see the delivery, dosage and charge
At first I was very impressed with how quickly a PA was in contact. Once they explained the dosage, I explained that this is not a new medication for myself and that 0.2 is not the dose I am requesting. I received a follow up, they inquired about the dosage I have been taking. Needless to stay, the following day or two item was shipped. They never confirmed that they were sending the 0.2 or the 1.0. I made outreach four times with no reply. I am currently disputing this issue with my credit card company.
